suggestion, FWIW: some graphics would help it reach a wider audience, if you could find an info-graphics whiz to work with. The comparison of NY and other states would make an interesting graph. It would also be interesting to colour-code the results by political leaning.

Thank you. Actually, I've been ripped off already. / sarc. Truthfully, what I am doing isn't all that difficult - but it IS time consuming even thought it's largely automated. The graphics bit has been done nicely by this other guy so I'll leave it at that.

There is an ocean of data and analysis on this topic. In order to break out, you need help. My work here was tweeted by LS a while ago (thanks) specifically about how the hands-off approach of Sweden was faring vs the US. That was great, but it was my peak moment in the limelight - I quickly threw my sweat-soaked scarf into the crowd and left the stage for good.
