If it doesn’t build antibodies then pushing for a vaccine would be useless. Exposure builds antibodies against any invader. Whether or not the resistance remains active depends on the virus. This is the reason we get yearly flu and pneumonia shots. This is also why there are the antibody test kits being distributed and used. Any proclamation that comes from WHO, Fauci or the Scarf are suspect from the start and coming by way of CNN makes them instant fake news.
This “WHO’s” agenda is not My Generation, Tommy, or Baba O’Reilly.

I want to know where the idea that asymptomatic people could spread the virus came from. It was already known, or stated by “experts” previously, that SARS was not spread by those with no symptoms. Can someone tell me?
Saw this earlier today, and thought that the change in tone from them was really strange. They’re probably right — as in there are no statistically provable studies that can “prove” the immunity.
But that sure is the way to bet, as it is the case with most viruses, and almost all corona viruses that we know abouitt.
But my question for them, if there’s some doubt about immunity, what makes this virus so special, hmmmm? Maybe something to do with a lab in Wuhan?

The structure of this sentence suggests that WHO doesn't have a clue as to the verity or balderdash of their statement. I would have been better if they had said nothing, because this "warning" adds nothing to the discussion.

I saw this CNN report a few hours ago at the top of the list of important news stories as compiled by BING. I apologize for not naming Bill Gates as one of the co-conspirators. BING is his thing.

I would like it to be true that a vaccine is possible (meaning that something can grant immunity), because my wife is 64, and is undergoing chemotherapy for bone cancer, along with managed diabetes and a few other “underlying conditions” that make it likely that COVID would give her a terrible time, or could kill her. It is not a light subject in this house.
At the same time, we want this quarantine to be over, over, over and get back to normal life. Of course there’s risk in that — all of life involves risk. When I rode a motorcycle I wore a helmet.
So it’d be nice if this d@mned virus was preventable with a vaccine.

It seems we are only beginning to learn about this thing. A key question is whether casual exposure builds “herd immunity”. There seems to be no definitive answer yet. Just opinions bandied about. It probably varies from person to person but even a general case answer would be helpful.
Forget WHO. With the whole world working on this I would have expected more definitive scientific answers by now.
If there was no immunity we’d have re-infection all over the place - no?
