In the past, not just in America, the “unwilling to work” starved.
Isn’t one thing we have learned in all this that “Society may tolerate you as “excess population” but Nature won’t? Intelligent people learn.
Let’s hope they’re also “unwilling to vote.”

One of my first jobs was working underground in a mine. Where I learned the “Miner’s Code”. Basically, when things go South you don’t want that guy asking himself if you’re worth saving.
That percentage is likely shrinking with more temporary and part time hiring.

It makes me wonder which came first the stupidity of the NYC voters or people like AOC and De Blasio that are attracted to the dumbest voters in the country. No wonder NYC is the center of the epidemic.
This twit benefited from a perfect storm of apathy and ignorance.... the dinosaur she beat in the primary was lazy, fat, dumb & happy and didn’t bother to campaign. I’m sure if he did, he would of crushed her. So with only 4 or 5 percent of the voters bothering to turnout she pulled it off. Now the voters in her district know she’s more interested in being a celebrity, couldn’t care less about her district. And now with 30% unemployment on the way and Amazon being one of the few companies making money these days, no one is going to forget she went out of her way to kill the Amazon development. This kid is toast.
Why do the "unwilling" get a free paid vacation at the expense of the "willing"?
OK, we’ve got lots of illegals who are actively looking for, and willing to work. Let’s keep them and banish our homegrown unwillings to the illegals’ countries of origin, one for one. Keep a thousand Mexicans, send a thousand gangbangers, bebymamas, meth heads and generational welfare clients to Mexico.
Or stole, or scammed. Looks like nothing's changed.
Barmaids and waitresses, who are paid below minimum wage and depend on tips, (mostly) are making more on unemployment than when they were employed. Why do you think they want to stay unemployed?

The total of compensation from all sources of unemployment should not equal or exceed the wages that were being earned prior to the layoff. Cash tips frequently go unreported, so those who fail to report them receive less.
When called back to work, refusing should end any entitlement to benefits.
