A group of protesters showed up at a law enforcement officers home on Tuesday evening shortly after a woman was hauled off in handcuffs and arrested for taking her children to a playground.
Two uniformed law enforcement officials can be seen outside of the home and interacting with protesters who are outraged with the lockdown tyranny that has arisen as a result of the coronavirus panic. The home belongs to one of the officers responsible for carrying out the brazenly tyrannical order.
They need to know this is not okay, one concerned citizen told police.
We the people are not okay with this at all, another woman stated definitively.

This optic makes us look bad. Were the police following orders, directive and law mandated and enacted by higher authority? It is one thing when police go rogue but another when government is really responsible for tyranny and the police have no choice but to enforce UNLESS it is “UNLAWFUL” (which can be subjective).
Cops are too chickens*t to go after real criminals. That's why they're arresting moms with their kids in a playground instead. Barney Fife was the first Karen. Gotta throw Aunt Bea in jail.
“...Remember how outraged we were when protesters showed up at the homes of Tucker Carlson and several Republican politicians.....”
Yeah, but these 2 pricks deserved it and Tucker didn’t.
“If he gives a warning and someone get sick and dies”
NO ONE is responsible for another’s life, unless they take it. STOP with the projecting responsibility outside of the individual. It’s so socialist.
The mayor’s house.
When cops act like fascist overlords, then they individually need to be called out. They work for us, so Tucker Carlson is NOT a good example.
I was just following orders excuse did NOT work at Nuremberg and it isn’t an excuse now!
The lawsuits will be numerous and interesting. This is a clear violation of constitutional rights. Take this all the way to the Supremes.
Not at all. The officer still has discretion, and the officer needs to use it wisely.
With great power comes great responsibility. If an officer behaves like an agent of tyranny, then that officer can expect to be the first one shot.
I once knew a sheriff who made his rounds, but his service revolver never left the seat of his car. He didnt need it. He simply earned the respect of all the people he served (at that is the key word as peace officers serve the people).
Nuremberg
Tucker Carlson is not a government official, the police officer is.
it is entirely appropriate that these terrorist feel threatened at their own homes so they have no place safe to hide.
this has got to end.
I’m all for social distancing a d trying the shelter at home but arresting a woman for playing with their kids on the playground? that’s crap and it’s about time somebody started paying an ultimate price for violating the bill of rights of free American citizens.
I agree. City Hall is the place for this. Theyre the ones making the rules.
There use to be a thing called a “street adjustment” which is really another term for a cop using common sense and human decency in a given situation. Seems to have been lost. And goddamn these snitches and those who promote it.
Do both, although I think protesting the individual is most effective. The police department will lose workers if the workers are rejected by the public, even when the rejection is the result of policy and not “workers election.”
The policy makers are othewrwise indifferent about the unpopularity of their action. There is ZERO accountability at the department level.
What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family?
Not to take it to that extreme because the operative isn't hauling people to their death, but yes, the same principle applies. If the operative is willing to squeeze the people, then the people are free to express their displeasure TO THE OPERATIVE. This one-on-one level is where the action is. This is "jury of peers," your peers are cops, judges, legilators and governors. You can get into ANY of their faces, whatever is most effective. The system is broken and is designed to not work, to protect bad policy, bad decisions, and bad actions.
The police are part of the government. When the government does something unpopular, they don't get immunity from the public displeasure.
As far as which side looks bad, I figure the reaction by the public creates animosity. IOW, the cops come to dislike the people and will, at the approprate time, get even. It's simply the way the world is. People act like people, and everybody justifies their action.
Us vs. them. You know it, I know it, and everybody else knows it.
They can protest at the precinct Keep the families out of it. What is this? A 1930s B movie?
No
“They can protest at the precinct Keep the families out of it. “
Coppers aren’t keeping families out of it when they arrest a father or mother in front of their kids.
"Karens" transplanted from California are probably the snitches. They can't drive, either.
The arrestees kids are best served by having the cop properly sanctioned, fired, arrested, sued whatever.
Not by seeing their parents stooping to the same chaotic level as the offending cop, perpetuating disorder.
