When Congress passed the CARES Act to provided relief from the coronavirus impact, it sent about $14 billion to institutions of higher education to address the unique impact the virus has had on college campuses.
Colleges and universities had been waiting for the Department of Education to release guidance to detail how exactly schools could allocate the grant money, including who is eligible. Today, Secretary Betsy DeVos and the Department released new guidance to address that and more.
In the guidance, DeVos chose to limit the students eligible for the grant aid to those eligible for federal student financial aid meaning U.S. citizens and some noncitizens.
This means that undocumented immigrants participating in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals programalso known as DACAcreated in the Obama Administration will not be eligible for these emergency grants.

Illegals. Sorry. Citizens first.
“Half of the money sent to institutions must be in the form of emergency grant aid directly to students to address living expenses such as housing, “
And the other half? The racket?
But how will they be able to attend college to learn how to bite the hand that feeds them?
“In the guidance, DeVos chose to limit the students eligible for the grant aid to those eligible for federal student financial aid meaning U.S. citizens and some noncitizens.”
I see no problem with this.
Good.
No, great.

Good! ONLY US CITIZENS SHOULD GET AID. Illegal aliens deserve only jail and deportation. If schools choose to undermine this and provide aid to illegal aliens, federal funds should be withheld.
Brava.
They are still illegal aliens.
The action being deferred is their deportation.
Time is up!
Good. If they want tax dollars, they should go to their own countries and see if their own governments will give them handouts. Foreigners are not entitled to the money I earned.
Reasonable action by the Secretary.
Amen.
The DACA’s can go back home and petition their Government for a bailout
This ordeal has a silver lining.
The Country will be reset and structured in line with the Constitution. All of the Marxist Mistakes will be wiped away.
High Time to dissolve the Department of Education. Send the responsibility back to the states
