Grumpy. Gruff. Stern. Steely. Unrelenting.
All these adjectives aptly describe Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot.
She may not be someone you’d invite for a drink, Like her predecessor, Lightfoot brings a tough, take-no-prisoners style. Unlike her predecessor, she doesn’t pretend to be soft and fuzzy even in these lonely pandemic times.
That’s a very good thing.
She is pushing her citywide order with a stern, steely, unrelenting message: “Stay home. Save lives.”

Let’s see if the mayor’s constituents listen to her. How long will they accept being under house arrest?
The last time I saw a picture of her there wasn’t much hair in need of being “done”!

LOL. True, she has a boyish haircut, which she can’t do much with as far as hairstyles go. My best guess, is that she has graying roots which show if she doesn’t get them touched up. And with her vanity, she doesn’t want anyone to know that.

What Chitcago REALLY needs is for about half of its ‘citizens’ to walk over to the lake and drown themselves.
Any additional *stimulus* bills should include that gov’t employees pay is suspended until the economy, and country, opens up.
