They Can’t Stop Us from Re-Opening America
Townhall ^ | 20 April 20 | Kurt Schlichter

Posted on 04/19/2020 3:09:31 PM PDT by Bruiser 10

We’re going to come out of this nightmare whether the Democratic politicians like it or not. The pandemic is subsiding, so America is done with this lockdown nonsense, and the inevitable re-opening is coming. It will start out slow, then get faster, then get very, very fast, and then get finished. That’s how these things happen. But it won’t happen without #resistance. The lib establishment and its media gerbils clearly think it’s in their interest to have the Bat Gobbler flu crisis continue indefinitely. They think it hurts Trump, plus they really love wielding power over you. Just look into the dead doll eyes of Governor Karen (D-Minncounsinigan) and you can see that forcing big box stores to tape off the seed section gives her a kind of erotic pleasure. It’s kind of creepy.

But people aren’t having any more of this Schiff. We’re done. We could deal with it when it looked like a commonsense thing to do, but now it’s just getting stupid. Things are getting better and they are doubling down on the social distance Stasi act. You got police departments tweeting that protest isn’t essential, but apparently being petty fascists is.

Agreed. The leftist totalitarians and their lap dogs need to be brushed back from the plate.

Yeah they can. They own the bureaucracy. We already saw it when GameStop decided to blow off the orders, they had their business license yanked. They might not be able to stop the people, but they can stop the businesses, and with the businesses closed the people got nowhere to go..

“They Can’t Stop Us from Re-Opening America”

I suppose ya could break into businesses, call the owners and demand they come down there and wait on you, but I wouldn’t count on their cooperation 100 percent of the time.

And then you’re creating a public nuisance and you get arrested. Adding brandishing weapons to that isn’t a good plan. In many states, under certain circumstances, that’s a felony. Get you a nice long lock down.

I have no faith in the sheep anymore. The people of this country will fall in line with what “their betters” tell them to do, outlandish predictions and real evidence be damned.

If someone else goes first then maybe they will follow, if it doesn’t endanger their next government handout.

Let them get out, but as soon as someone tells them they should go in (for the good of the collective) they will go in.

Yeah, George Washington and Paul Revere worried about that a lot. That’s why we have America, because cowards.

Good thing to learn this lesson before things get interesting.

I’m eating fine. You talk big, but we both know you’re full of it. Internet tough. You’re probably in a similar boat to me. I can’t go to work, my company has turned off the badge readers. Can’t go to the movies, closed. Can’t go to the restaurant, closed. So I’m home. Not by choice, but it’s what I got. Probably what you got. The difference is I’m not trying to impress anybody. And you aren’t impressing anybody. I’m calling your bluff: don’t be an internet tough guy go do what you said. I’ll contribute $50 to your legal fees. Or admit you’re just a chest pumper who is doing EXACTLY what I’m doing, staying home.

Oh look another blow hard. You gonna start a revolution?! OF course not. You just want to sound tough while you stay home like everybody else. Same offer I made to the other BSer: go do what you demand I do, I’ll put $50 to your legal fees. Of course we both know you ain’t doing @$#$. Which means YOU’RE the coward. Big talk, no action. I’m the realist. This is where are, acting like we’re not is for idiots.

It’s time to reevaluate all the science people who couldn’t make an accurate model to save their or our lives.

This is going to lead to a lot of law suits. Hindsight being 20/20, I think we are going to find that in their arrogance, the scientists fudged and ignored data that didn't support their end-of-life predictions. Data that could have saved a lot of livelihoods.

Not if enough people are doing it at the same time.

Yes, I’ll start a revolution. Will you?

That’s what the second amendment is for. I’m ready. I’m more than ready. I can’t wait. You’ll be the first.
