According to projections by IHME, we are supposed to be past the peak by now, we will continue to see deaths for each day throughout May before reaching 0 on June 1st. Why is it supposed to stop by then? That seems a bit early to me.
Answer this simple question: when has this model ever come close to being accurate?

I’m certain that this isn’t so that if even a small number of people die from CoVid-19 complications after June 1st the Democrats can declare that an unforeseen spike in fatalities has occurred and resume the tyrannical control over the citizens of the US.
We should be happy to surrender all of our liberties if it saves even one life. Clearly that’s what our founding fathers believed.

We've had the virus circulating among us for much longer than we realized. Things went wonky around mid March but people were getting RSV, a serious lung illness in January, maybe December so June 1 would put us right at the 6 month mark.
I have a feeling those who had RSV labeled illnesses will turn out to be C-19 if those people are checked for antibodies. RSV is serious too with a long recovery time.
The point was never to stop the virus from spreading; that would be impossible. It was always to slow it down so the hospitals could handle the flow of sick people. Unfortunately they didn't know what to treat them with or how. Now we know certain drugs like Remdesivir and Hydroxchloroquine help greatly. The next challenge is to get them to the affected people in time to do some good. Front line health care workers should be taking them as a prophylactic.
That makes sense so why aren’t we hearing this during President Trump’s press conferrnces?

Because the MSM/DNC is desperate to keep the country shut down through May. They know if the can keep the country closed another month the economy will so decimated there is no chance it recovers before November. So by making this claim they are saying just keep it as it is and we get to no deaths by June!

Just shows how bad/far off “models” can be...(”garbage in/garbage out”)...COVID-19 is a nasty flu virus strain w/o a vaccine available, so of course there will be fatalities from it after June 1st. Just like every other flu virus.

Because that number is statistically in the middle of the predicted range of 0 to 41. 0 to 41 are two or three standard deviations away from 8, I’m not sure which they are using.
It’s supposed to reach zero by then so that when it doesn’t they can cite that as a reason to extend the lockdowns.
Or at the very least as a reason why we must have mail-in voting in November because we have to protect our most vulnerable blah blah blah.
These people are maniacal. And they’re idiots. Which makes them a deadly combination of maniacal idiots.
That’s why I am wondering if the true estimate is more like 200,000. That’s nearly 3x the deaths of 2017-18 flu season which was bad.
