What we’re doing here is putting up railroad gates ... and then letting some people drive around them while most people are forced to stay home. It’s one of the most irrational, idiotic approaches you’ll ever see to a crisis.

There are parts of the U.S. where people are being ordered to stay home even where there may be 1-2 cases and no fatalities in an entire county ... while the New York City subway system is still operating TODAY.

I’ve seen cars go around the railroad crossing gates and cross the track regardless.

But every once in a while they get hit by the train and get a darwin award.

For people who have to cross the tracks because they are in essential businesses, it helps then that the rest of us aren’t also trying to cross the tracks.

Ever had to stop on the tracks because the cars you thought were moving ahead of you stopped and you had nowhere to go? It’s not a fun feeling.
