The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is now counting "probable" cases of coronavirus among its tabulations, according to the agency's website.
The inclusion of such cases will add thousands to the total number of patients and deaths by including people who didn't have a positive test but showed signs of having the virus.

They are embarrassed. People are catching on that this is really just the flu. Not even an especially bad flu season. These people trashed the economy over nothing. How to turn this around and save themselves from humiliation? Fudge the numbers. Voila! 2 million dead!
I wonder if CNN realizes that it just gave ammo those who believe that this is a ginned up scam?
Now that crowd can point to this as proof that the virus wasn’t that bad and the CDC has to cover for its actions.

Then it would be only fair to allow primary care physicians to begin treatment in a timely manner with hydroxychloroquine/Zithromax before hard to get, long delayed COVID-19 test results are reported. The regimen works best when it is begun with the onset of fever and cough. Much less effective when shortness of breath and actual pneumonitis develops. The Democratic governors are preventing timely prescribing and dispensing of this treatment and are killing people by restricting primary care physicians from exercising their clinical judgement.
So anyone who had a headache. Sore throat, congestion, sniffles, cough, lethargy since February 1 who has died will be a CoVId death. Awesome.

And clinically, in what is being reported to the CDC, how are the reports distinguishing “probable Covid-19” from severe seasonal flu cases - by what measure of what symptoms???
This is more fudging the numbers.
Like symptoms of any cold anyone ever had?
And all these positives that have no symptoms have A PIECE of the Coronavirus but not the virus in fact.
Wait. Does this then mean that anyone with similar symptoms who recovered will also be included in the data set? Woo hoo 100m cases

Fudging the numbers to justify keeping all of us afraid and locked in our homes. The federal money to hospitals increases if the death is logged as due to COVID-19 so it’s “probable” the reported deaths are so reported.

No.
That’s how agencies boost their budgets: by exaggerating numbers to justify requests for more money. There isn’t a single agency/department in DC that doesn’t want a bigger budget EVERY YEAR.
Some believe we need to keep the country closed so we can go bankrupt before we die.
So now we know how they will count those mail in ballots...
