Lest we forget:

William H. Hallahan, “The Day the American Revolution Began:19 April 1775”

“In the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 19, 1775, British troops crossed Boston Harbor with the intention of marching to Concord, Massachusetts to seize military supplies stored in the town by Patriot militiamen. Anticipating the British actions, an alarm was raised throughout the countryside by American silversmith Paul Revere and dozens of other riders who warned the colonial militia and minutemen that the regulars were on the road to Concord. By 5 am, the simmering tensions between the American colonists and the British government would reach their breaking point. The events of April 19 would change the world forever.

Captain Parker ordered the drummer to beat a call to arms. Then he assembled his militia unit-now seventy-seven strong-and lined it up in two ranks along the Lexington green. He was an experienced officer with combat experience who understood that the regulars would immediately take this posture as a challenge. That he meant to do battle was indicated in his instructions to the troops: ‘Don’t fire unless fired upon. But if they want a war let it begin here.’

The militiamen stood in silence in the gathering light of dawn. The stirring birds called in the trees, and the odor of fresh-turned earth and apple blossoms hung in the air. Small knots of onlookers stood about on the common. Women and children peered from the windows of the houses around the green. Dorothy Quincy continued her vigil in the second-floor bedroom of the Clarke house.

All listened for the sound of British boot soles. It was five A.M.”

In addition to China and their lies and propaganda, the US media has been despicable and corrupt. The US media not only willingly spread Chinese propaganda, but deliberately sought to whip up panic and hysteria as part of their agenda to get Trump at all costs. The media continued to manufacture fake news by using photos of the chaos in Italian hospitals and claiming it was in New York and showing drone footage of the routine burial of unclaimed bodies on Hart Island in New York claiming them to be mass graves of Corona virus victims. The news conferences with Trump’s Corona virus team have been turned into media fear circuses with corrupt reporters asking gotcha questions rather than giving the American public the facts. The media driven hysteria using questionable models had a also pushed for the overreaction by many state governors and applauded when these draconian decrees have violated basic rights. The US media is every bit as corrupt as the Chinese Communist Party in spreading falsehoods and outright lies.

And all pretty much with the exact same wording. It’s starting to get aggravating.

"In New Jersey, the protest leader, Kim Pagan, was charged with violating the governor’s “stay at home orders.” She was issued a summons to appear in court and could receive a sentence of six months in jail as well as a fine of $1,000. Thus, a protest leader advocating for constitutionally mandated rights may be imprisoned while dangerous criminals are being released all over the country due to fears of the coronavirus spreading in prison."

Its all fun and games until the lead starts flying. And the latter just might if the above keeps happening.

“republican governors haven’t exactly covered themselves in glory...”

Holcomb, Governor of Indiana fits that description.

What’s the punishment allowed for elected officials who refuse to follow the Constitution of the United States? Time to start enforcing it.

I live in Northern Virginia and from what I’m seeing the virus is going to have a rough time. It seems like everyone is wearing a mask and gloves. Not just at the stores, but also driving down the road and even when they go out to walk the dog around the block. It is just strange to see someone driving alone in a car wearing a mask. I wonder if they change out to a new mask before going to bed?

“This has been the case since our country was founded 244 years ago. “

Since Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden, actually.

Fear is a terrible thing. Some are afraid of the virus, the rest are fearful of criticism. I’m in a high risk group (70 years old) and have no fear of coronavirus. I of course wash my hands, keep my fingers away from my face. I refuse to wear a mask unless someone asks me to for their peace of mind.

Almost all serious scientists have said that it is not easy to catch this virus by casual contact (like shopping or dining out). The primary risk is prolonged exposure in densely populated closed spaces (like conference rooms, seniors homes, lots of people crammed into small homes or apartments or in health care settings). Out of about 129 outbreaks in Virginia 77 are in nursing homes, about 10 are in other group home environments and corrections facilities.

State governments want to scare the crap out of all of us because it makes it easier to take away our rights. We are finding out that at least half of our population are either tyrants or enablers of tyrants.

Media and state governments

I’m not placing the blame on the president, but on the Democrats & RHINOS where it belongs. The president has a plan in place for reopening America & it’s the Democrats opposing this. Doesn’t take a college education to see this. In fact, some of the opposing Democrats need to be facing serious charges for what they are doing to our Constitution right now.
