Roger Stone on Friday night said he believes he will die in jail unless hes pardoned by President Donald Trump.
Stone, a longtime friend and former adviser to Trump, was sentenced on Feb. 20 to three years and four months in prison.
Stone was convicted on charges including lying to a congressional committee that was investigating Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election.
Stone in recent weeks moved for a new trial, pointing out anti-Trump social media posts made by the jury forewoman, and tried getting the presiding judge to recuse herself after she praised the integrity of the jurors.
Both attempts failed. U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson of the District of Columbia this week said Stone would not get a new trial after she refused to recuse herself. Stone, 67, was under a gag order throughout the ordeal. That order was lifted Friday, prompting an appearance on Fox News.
I was very hopeful that the motion for a mistrial in my casebased on flagrant and blatant, even egregious juror misconductwouldve won me a new trial. The U.S. Supreme Court has been very clear that all defendants are entitled to a jury that is impartial and indifferent. But in this case, it is indisputable that the jury forewoman attacked both me and President Trump in 2019 social media postings, lied about that during jury selection, and then later deleted her Facebook page to cover her trails, Stone said on the networks Tucker Carlson Tonight.
Host Tucker Carlson said he was confused about Stone not being pardoned by Trump, prompting the presidents former adviser to say a sentence would likely leave him dead.

So what’s Trump’s holdup?
Lying to a Congressional Committee. Hillary lied. Comey lied. Brennan lied.
Sorry...equal Justice.
He didnt lie to a committee.
> Stone was convicted on charges including lying to a congressional committee <
I dont know much about this case. But heres a good rule. Dont talk to cops. Dont talk to FBI agents. Dont talk to congressional committees.
Good video here. Dont talk to the police.
Berman is an utter disgrace. A complete political hack, who basis her decisions only on her political leanings. And somehow, it seems a huge percentage of the cases got referred to her.
She is utterly unfit to serve as a judge.
RE: > Stone was convicted on charges including lying to a congressional committee <
HAH! Eric Holder and Louis Lerner were both cited with Contempt of Congress and they both still have their fat pensions and FREE.
Stone on the other hand, had a full commando raid with helicopters flying over his home for essentially the same thing. Where’s the justice?
The very idea that the deep state went after Stone with more firepower then they went after Osama bin Laden with is disgraceful.
2020 election
I never knew what exactly was the lie.
That being said Trump should pardon him based on solely the way he was treated....
They went after Stone harder than they went after El Chapo.
Frankly....It was none of their business what he was doing on his own time. He wasn’t working for the President.
“committee that was investigating Russian interference”
The whole investigation was based on a lie. Falsified FISAs and a media that reported it as a fact...all fake.
Stone will get more time than OJ Simpson murders.
They say he coordinated Wikileaks releases of Russian stolen Hillary/Podesta emails. This never happened but someone else says he did. No lie.
If he wins or loses in November hell be free to do so at that time. If he does so before theyll find a away to use it against him for the election
Really ? I find stone hilarious and quite insightful on some subjects. Not a font of veracity, though.
Perhaps Nathan's first maxim of American politics (all politics in America is not local but ultimately racial) ought to have a corollary:
And amidst this China Collusion of the RATS and the Chicoms designed to defeat President Trump in November, I have no doubt they're also trying to bait him into pardoning Stone now.
