WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump on Friday encouraged an anti-lockdown group that is scheduled to protest in Minnesota against stay-at-home orders to prevent the spread of coronavirus and he appeared to back such efforts in other states, arguing that "elements" of some state regulations were "just too tough."
"I think elements of what they've done are just too tough," Trump said at the daily White House press briefing Friday evening when asked about a tweet — "LIBERATE MINNESOTA!" — that he posted earlier in the day.

Then do something about it. Trump said he alone has the authority to open up the country. Instead of delegating that to the governors take action on his own in those states where the governors are too tough.

Here in the People’s Republic of Virginia, 1% of our population has the virus (it’s probably 2 to 3x that) and a little over 200 people have died with a median age over 80.
SO, 7.7 million of us are locked in/locked down. In almost 40,000 square miles of land that is mostly rural, mountainous, and lowly populated. And this makes sense?
QUESTION: Does our wimpy Marxist governor have the authority to over-rule our nation’s Constitution? Do I, as a Christian citizen of both the USA and Virginia have to accept his orders - when they are in violation of our Constitution?
I personally think not.
