President Trump's guidelines on reopening the country leaves much up to governors, states and businesses as they look to find ways to restart their economies amid the coronavirus pandemic, according to a copy of a White House "Opening Up America Again" document obtained by CBS News. The plan is expected to put much of the onus on states to develop sufficient testing and contact tracing systems.
The 18-page document, which resembles a detailed PowerPoint presentation, lists basic "gating" criteria a state or region should reach before beginning to send people back to work and school. Mr. Trump relayed the guidelines on a Thursday afternoon call.
"You're gonna call your own shots," Mr. Trump told governors on the call, according to an audio recording obtained by CBS News. "I've gotten to know almost all of you. Most of you I've known and some very well beforehand. You're very capable people. I think in all cases very capable people. And you're gonna be calling your shots. We'll be standing right alongside of you. And we're gonna get our country open, and get it working and our people want to get working."

After years of unrelenting assault at the hands of the American Pravda (corrupt media) and Soviet Commissars (corrupt elitists) Trump knows he must outsmart the swamp creatures. By tossing the ball into their court responsibility falls onto them, meaning angry Americans will hold them responsible despite attempts by Pravda to turn the ball back into Trump's court. In short, Trump is giving them the rope to hang themselves.
Swedish alternative has not been far worse than other countries, they only suggested social distancing and left their economy running by and large. They may have seen a few extra cases and deaths but who’s to say those wouldn’t have come along a bit later anyway? It’s mainly about avoiding a total collapse of the health care system.
I’m surprised more public officials don’t routinely mention the benefits of diet and vitamin regimes, while not being a guarantee of immunity, they change the odds in your favor.
Pretty sure that the breaking point will be around May 1st, a second month without an adequate cash flow is going to turn nightmare to disaster for many. More and more people will start asking, is this really worth it?
Hopefully some states (and sports) will lead the way, results will not appear too catastrophic, and the panic will ease gradually then fade out over the summer.
A lot depends on how natural in cause this actually was and is, since an engineered virus could more likely have a second wave planned.

Quite frankly, I have sent numerous notes to Trump suggesting that he leave the decisions closest to the crisis, State and County officials. DC bureaucrats should not be micromanaging every county in the country. Furthermore, this will distance him from the media and dems slamming him.
Oh we are so screwed here in California. Gov Grabbin Nuisance wants to change our voting into mail-in only and then use this virus to cancel capitalism here because of gloBULL warming.
