Beginning Saturday, anyone going into a Dallas County business or riding public transportation will be required to wear a mask, County Judge Clay Jenkins announced Thursday afternoon.
In a tweet, Jenkins said he expected Dallas County residents would comply with the new requirement without law enforcement needing to take action.

I’m in the metroplex and I’m really glad I don’t live in Dallas County. Clay Jenkins is an absolute moron. Is there any way to get rid of him?
Lots of ways to get rid of him but most are criminal in nature.
I will say as one who rode DART into work, there’s no way I’d go on a DART train now.
All Dallas County politicians need to go home. Obviously, they are non-essential. Jenkins is in charge.
Coronavirus conundrums:
7 AM Too tired to think
10 AM, too tired to think
6 PM: too tired to think
Midnight: “If i eat pasta and antipasti together, will i gain weight?” “How do cow farts smell when they eventually reach mars?” “I wonder if you could put a candle out with a flamethrower?” “If you put dry ice on wet ice, will it create a black hole?”
I don’t live in Dallas County either, and IMO a smart republican or even a non fascistic democrat could take him out in the next election.
This will not be popular in south Dallas or the Park cities.
rick roberts is all over clay right now on wbap.
Clay Jenkins lives in Waxahachie, Ellis county, Texas. Jerk wad doesnt even live in Dallas county, yet is an elected official of Dallas county.
Austin, Travis county. ....masks.
Shut down until may 15.
And where are people supposed to get the nasks to begin with???
How does a judge get to decide this? Where is city council, county commissioners? Why aren’t they deciding things? Judges should not have such power...
May 8th
Judge is just a name for county commissioner in Dallas County, and Hank Kimball from Green Acres is more intelligent than Clay Jenkins.
Denton County (TX) also has it’s own little tin pot dictator judge: Andy Eads. Can’t wait for a similar proclamation from him that I can ignore.
Just FYI - the Dallas one technically carries a max 180 days jail sentence and $1000 fine if you violate it.

To be fair (as much as I don’t want to), they actually are somewhat reasonable about that. Here’s the actual text from the order:
The public in general and Essential Business employees shall comply with the following:
A.To the greatest extent possible, all persons over the age of two (2) shall wear some form of covering over their nose and mouth, such as a homemade mask, scarf, bandana or handkerchief, when:
1)patronizing an Essential Business;and
2)using public transportation, taxis, or ride shares.
B.This section shall not apply to personsthat are:
1)riding in a personal vehicle;
2)engaging in outdoor activity;
3)eating; or
4)when wearing a covering poses a greater mental or physical health, safety or security risk such as anyone who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious, incapacitated or otherwise unable to remove the cover without assistance.
Goody. Ebola Jenkins mandating that anybody going into a private business wear a mask. I think it’s a great idea to wear a mask into a private business, since PHYSICAL distancing can’t be guaranteed within, but shouldn’t it really be up to the BUSINESS to decide whether to mandate that for the customers?
NOTE: Wal-Mart is ahead of the curve. They are mandating masks in the stores beginning this Saturday.
Just curious but is the county going to supply the
masks or in other ways reimburse the citizens for
this enforcement?
So the HOOD around I-45 keeps propping the Ebola Idiot up?
