I just read a few seconds ago that dewine won’t open shop until May 1st which is an eternity to small businesses hanging by a thread! Stick a fork in Ohio’s Mom and Pop businesses they’re cooked!!

The only things locked down in my area are the closed businesses. The people have been ignoring the stay at home thing for some time. Traffic is really heavy today, people are all over the place and no one is wearing a mask.
Workers at the open businesses are annoyed because people are coming there just to walk around and let their kids run, they’ve already bought everything they need.

I understand low information voters believing that the government can just print all the money it feels like doing without any negative conseqences. Governors of a state in the USA should know better. Perhaps asking for 500 BILLION dollars is just a way of blaming PDJT when he doesn’t send it.

Sadly, politicians, and most of the general public have no idea what this is doing to small business. They think a business owner, regardless the size of the business, is just sitting on mountains of cash.
When unemployment goes through the roof and stays there, the public and their elected morons will be dumbfounded.

Amen. Trump should have all the Republican Governors open up their states. He should make a statement that if Democratic governors do not begin to open their states the voters should hold them accountable for financial damage to the state’s economy from this point forward. He should make a clear contrast for the American people to see. It could actually be a case, in a few months, of breadlines in Democrat controlled states verses prosperity in the Republican controlled states.

Neat idea, but red states can’t “recover well” with blue states in the dumper at the same time. Our economy is based on interstate commerce.
