Day before for me. Nearly lost my job due to 6 weeks of on off work, painful breathing - bruised ribs/abs from coughing. Lasted til xmas.

Was told it was a very strange but definitely viral upper respiratory infection
I was asthmatic until about 15 years ago and allergy immunotherapy (shots for 5 yrs). Asthma returned and now back on original meds, inhalers etc. Was Never this sick in my past asthsma times. Don’t tell me it was a fluke when 3 weeks later we started announcing the first patients and epidemic. China Knew and kept sending their advanced rangers to Michigan’s airport daily, to Detroit businesses and my university that I attend. They all knew. WHO, CDC. But stopping flights in Jan was raciss.
Right now the proposed contract is all talk and no substance.
If this changes and becomes an actual contract, then Congress needs to step in.
I’ve been thinking about that, Operation Gridlock: Albany....
Upstate would go. In a heartbeat.
But Upstate has got so little clout in Albany, I really think our only prayer is federal protection.

There are a lot of those but there are regular folks now added to it. People who have never taken charity in their lives. I dropped off a bag of food for my hairdresser last night because she was at wits end. She had just paid the rent on her station when the shut down hit. She had no clue where to go, she had enough money to make it through the month and it was almost gone.
