After this, I never want to hear another public employee whine to me about how bad they’ve got it. My good will for anyone in the public sector, POTUS excepted, is gone.

The vids if the food bank lines that I’ve seen, from the Houston area, are people who’ve likely been on govt assistance their entire lives. A generational thing.
I also saw, what *appeared* to be, families of hispanic illegals. The older person/parent could speak no English and the kids had heavy accents and spoke more of a broken English.
I could be wrong...and...these could ALL have been normally hard working, tax paying legal citizens.

Neither set of states will get any extra federal money, so Dem states delay at their own expense.
Gov Cuomo was on Sean Hannity’s radio show today. Cuomo is such a snake. Though he conceded that President Trump has sent him everything that he asked for (actually that he needed) , Cuomo is blaming his request for the high numbers of ventilators on numbers given to him by “The White House and the CDC”. I guess that Cuomo’s complaining that Trump had not sent him as many as he needed immediately will be down the memory home. ... especially when Cuomo had 2,000 in a warehouse in NJ right when he was making the claim. He is really good at lying and weasel words.
Oh...so, it’s NOT the entire state, for the May 17th date, just Austin?

Not from here in NYS. The state and local enemedia is worse than worthless. The contrast between coverage of a federal government “shutdown” and this shutdown couldn’t be more stark. TV and print media just repeat Dem talking points.
And not a peep from our US AG.
