President Trump is asking a bipartisan group of lawmakers to join a panel tasked with determining how to reopen the U.S. economy, which has been hard hit by the rapid spread of the coronavirus.
The White House invitations went to the Republicans and Democrats in both chambers, multiple sources have confirmed to The Hill.
Among those invited are Senate Democratic Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and Sens. Mark Warner (D-Va.), Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.), Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), Maggie Hassan (D-N.H.), Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.) and Angus King (I-Maine), who caucuses with Democrats.
A spokesperson for Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) confirmed he was among the Senate Republicans who were invited to participate. Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) was also included.
House Democrats invited include Reps. Josh Gottheimer (N.J.), Stephanie Murphy (Fla.), Ro Khanna (Calif.), Jimmy Panetta (Calif.) and Tom Suozzi (N.Y.).
“My highest priority on this task force will be to ensure the federal government’s efforts to reopen our economy are bipartisan, data-driven, and based on the expertise of public health professionals,” Warner said in a statement.

Well if including Jared and Ivanka on the panel wasn't proof enough that it wasn't a serious suggestion then this idea certainly proves it.

Given Trump and the Federal government didnt close anything, the state governors did, I fail to see how the Federal Government can reverse it.
