EXCLUSIVE: COVID-19 originated in a Wuhan laboratory not as a bioweapon, but as part of China's effort to demonstrate that its efforts to identify and combat viruses are equal to or greater than the capabilities of the United States, multiple sources who have been briefed on the details of early actions by China's government and seen relevant materials tell Fox News.
This may be the "costliest government coverup of all time," one of the sources said.
The sources believe the initial transmission of the virus was bat-to-human, and that "patient zero" worked at the laboratory, then went into the population in Wuhan. Asked by Fox News' John Roberts about the reporting, President Trump remarked at Wednesday's coronavirus press briefing, "More and more we're hearing the story...we are doing a very thorough examination of this horrible situation."
Documents detail early efforts by doctors at the lab and early efforts at containment. The Wuhan wet market initially identified as a possible point of origin never sold bats, and the sources tell Fox News that blaming the wet market was an effort by China to deflect blame from the laboratory, along with the country's propaganda efforts targeting the U.S. and Italy.
U.S. Embassy officials warned in January 2018 about inadequate safety at the Wuhan Institute of Virology lab and passed on information about scientists conducting risky research on coronavirus from bats, The Washington Post reported Tuesday...…
Additionally, the sources tell Fox News the World Health Organization (WHO) was complicit from the beginning in helping China cover its tracks.

As the cycle repeats...just rinse and repeat. The media are using it now to generate fear with the goal of trapping republicans as culpable for the loss of life (while ignoring that it occurs in predominantly DUmocrat-heavy populations).
This is pretty outrageous if true and I doubt we will ever know for certain as China would NEVER admit this happened. They will claim this is US propaganda and half our country and the world will buy it.
What we do know for certain is that once China began to confront this they tried to cover it up. After they realized the seriousness of the situation THEY DID NOT TELL THE REST OF THE WORLD OR STOP INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL WITH EXPOSED PEOPLE
Yes, I am yelling. How many thousands are dead because of this? How many millions are out of work and how many companies are ruined? How many states/municipalities are now in deficits because of this? The sheer costs of this is staggering not only here in the US, but throughout much of the developed world.
It is a crap sandwich any way you slice it, but once the bat was out of the bag so to speak they screwed us over because that is the communist way.
At this point, what do we do about what I wrote in caps above? Keep in mind, prior to the coverup this would have not been anything close to what it has become - a global disaster.

Do we demand restitution? Keep in mind the economic damage has been far beyond imagination or an achievable number by China worldwide.
This is going to get ugly. The pressure on the CCP is going to be bad and they will not likely react well. Trump will act, but what does he do? The rest of the world leaders will probably shake their fist and make sternly worded statements. The UN will defend China.
Obviously, we have a lot of questions with no answer likely forthcoming for weeks if not months.
Their ploy was predictable, but it is not working with the American public. They will drive down his numbers a few points, but I think most folks have already baked this into the cake.
Deport all Chinese nationals and seize every asset, bank account, gold storage, all the farmland and ports they have purchased, and leave them with ZERO assets within the states or US territories. While we’re at it, drain all their offshore accounts, hack into their systems, wipe their economy, and bring their entire country down.
Everytime an American looked at an item for where it was made in it came from this country (China). Now China’s reliance making everything was being threatened by a change in leadership in America which was a major consumer of those products. When Americans hailed their leaders decision to make many of them in their country US. Their politburo worried. Worse yet opponents to the Chinese regime in power had its citizens protesting its policies since that change in American leadership wave the American flag and present his name when doing so. Would a runaway plague created by a nation which could threaten populations of an enemy cause them to react by demanding extreme restriction of movement by its population to prevent its spread ? Thus wind up fragmenting its economy Sure looks suspicious particularly when crews of US naval vessels somehow wind up being infected by it while visiting foreign asian ports.
To stop the return of manufacturing of products back to the US that went to China. China backers here who’s family members are making millions from China through their political connections will be hit hard are also claiming that Trump’s alleged stock ownership in a quinine pills maker claim its a controlling interest in a product to be totally ineffective and when used requires a severe restriction of movement when near a possible carrier known as a shutdown because of its rapid transmission .

We’ll never know exactly how it started.. I just know that Wuhan was ground zero. I watch a broadcaster that has been on this story since January 17th, when there were 40 cases there. And Chinese New Year was coming up....which spread it to the rest of the world.
