Ever since a senior official in the Trump administration penned an anonymous 2018 New York Times column attacking President Trump as unfit for office, Washington has been engrossed in a high-stakes whodunit. After an exhaustive investigation, the White House believes its cracked the case, identifying Trump's turncoat as his former deputy national security adviser, Victoria Coates, according to people familiar with the internal probe.

“Victoria Coates”
Is that where the term, “TURNCOAT” comes from?
Evil Brhymeswithwitch.
Ted Cruz passed off this Art History Phd as a national security advisor.
Swamp was NEVER,EVER drained. Nor will it be.
OMG that’s “Karen’s” mother!
The, "Swamp" as you call it, turned out to be 1000 miles long and 4,000 feet deep. Ya think after decades of the ruling class, who were revealed to be political posers and frauds from both parties, Trump was going to clean this up in 3 or so years? Come on now.
Trump is great, but not Superman.
We’ll see how she likes covering her head and not being able to drive. Good riddance.
I suppose it is really an invitation to resign. President Trump must be 100% convinced she's the culprit, since he is a tad adverse to false accusations...
I suppose she'll go off and write a kiss-and-tell book.
Oh, wait...
Definitely burka material...
FTA....
...Rather than fire Coates, the White House has quietly transferred her to the Department of Energy, where she awaits special assignment in Saudi Arabia — far from the president.
Trump effectively demoted Coates just four months after promoting her last fall to the No. 2 spot on his National Security Council. The move was made amid a whisper campaign, started in January, that identified Coates as Anonymous, the person who wrote the Times Op-Ed and a subsequent book, A Warning, claiming to be part of a cabal of fellow Republicans” resisting Trump and his policies from inside the administration.
The Washington press corps has for the most part been uninterested in learning the authors identity. But the sources said the identification of Coates was based on circumstantial evidence generated from a months-long White House investigation led by sleuths within the NSC. Top White House adviser Peter Navarro, who works with the NSC on trade and other issues, also was heavily involved in the probe of Coates.
She declined to discuss the matter on the record with RealClearInvestigations and has retained an attorney, friends say, although several colleagues have rushed to her defense, insisting the White House has the wrong person. But a source involved in the NSC probe who asked not to be identified said there was little doubt. Its her, the source said of Coates. Thats why she was shown the door.....
....
Also...KT McFarland saying there’s NO WAY that Victoria Coates could be Anonymous.
Hmmmm.
I read it all and agree the coincidences and similarities are too numerous to deny. President Trump was kind and merciful to put her on the shelf so she can get her retirement.
Got to admit, for a guy who achieved fame saying “Your fired!” he has had poor judgement of character while picking his helpers. God’s grace is surely with him.
Girl Power has gotten pretty damned ugly ever since the ‘90’s.
Her transfer should have been to Gitmo, not some desk job in SA.
I would have to be convinced that what she did was not an act of sedition. If the case can be made and prosecuted I would have no problem with her being client #72 for the gallows on the commons.
Do you think she ever had a good hair day?
bump
Do you think she ever had a good hair day?
= = =
Ask Lyin Ted and Gov Goodhair Perry.
She’s worked for both.
Heh. He’s sending her to Saudi Arabia for the summer. That’ll learn her.
Victoria Coates represents elitism at it’s worst. We are well aware of the globalist never Trumpers who despise him for his nationalist America (and Americans) first ideology that conflicts with the Bushes’ wing that promotes globalism under the guise of freedom, democracy and capitalism. And to protect their initiatives they use the American military. They equate American dominance overseas with national security. How many Americans have been sacrificed to protect “American interests”? Being a nationalist is not having your head in the sand. It is questioning American foreign adventurism and the necessity of protecting militarily multi-national corporations who outsource American wealth to pad the pockets of said corporations who profess no allegiance to America but strip her and her citizens of jobs.
Saudi Arabia??
Oh my. She will just LOVE it there.
My husband and I lived over there for five l-o-n-g years. His salary here as an engineer was very good for the times.
There was a priest there for daily Mass, 9:00 A.M.
Protestants had ONE minister for all the non-Catholics and there "Sundays" were on Fridays...the "Sunday" part of the Saudi weekend, Thursdays and Fridays.
My husband's salary as a gas engineer over THERE started at SIX TIMES higher than what he made here. And, over the five years his salary increased.
The coup de grace was that we didn't have to pay ANY federal income tax on the first $80,000.00 he made. Zero. zip, zilch, nada...
AND since we weren't living in the USA we had NO state income tax to pay.
We made a FRIGGIN' FORTUNE.
I also worked and made a mere DOUBLE my USA salary.
We stayed that long because we traveled to places that we KNEW we would never get to: all of Europe and the Middle East, Egypt twice, Kenya, China, St. Petersburg, some of southeast Asia, Singapore, Hong Kong...and Hawaii to recuperate!
I learned to REALLY appreciate my Catholic faith and my country.
I always got all snerfy when I thought of HOME = USA.
