I hope he’s going to the same doctor who’s managed to keep Ginsburg alive all this time.

Damn, rush is pretty dang smart....

Mark Cuban? He has tech that does facial recognition. He’s gonna make a lot of money modifying that tech by adding infrared scanning. Mark has been a little naughty at times but I’ll save that for another day....

“What are we going to do when we lose Rush?”

What did we do when we lost Paul Harvey?

I concur. The best is yet to come, and is not far off. Bear in mind, however, this life is not all there is, so live accordingly.

For the next year I am only going to buy at stores. I won’t use Amazon unless they clearly mark the country of origin.

I want to make sure Americans are supported first. I basically feel very good about the future. I just wish they would stop with the protecting people over 65 by keeping them home. Not me, I can’t do this much longer. I don’t have a lot of time left I will not spend the time I do have hunkering down in my house.

There is a meme going around social media, FWIW, that's been bugging me greatly. It makes the following points:

  1. Nothing should go back to normal.
  2. Normal wasn't working.
  3. If we go back to the way things were, we will have lost the lesson.
  4. May we rise up and do better.

It irritates me because it sounds almost revolutionary. A great many of us want nothing more than to return to normal. Things were working quite well before, and there's no reason to want to make major changes.

If you read into this as a desire to be more appreciative of what you have, more thankful for family and friends, and it makes you strive to be a better parent, spouse, friend, student, employee, etc. -- you are free to do any of those things today. Those are choices that you can make at any time.

Today, got back in the market by half. One month we’ll probably put the other half in, after more than corporate earnings reports have been released. Staying away from emerging markets for the time being.

BTW, chicoms are considered an emerging market...the bassturds. May that nation crash and burn for the damage they’ve continually inflicted upon the world and may their people thoroughly and completely destroy the ccp overlords that have enslaved them...please Lord.

I suspect the market will be up 20% in the next year

I’m just worried about what this is doing to kids — especially boys — who are watching their dads afraid to go outside without wearing a mask and gloves ... broke, out of work and unable to support the family without a government check ... bowing down to every command from a politician (i.e., a stranger) .... things like that. Kids are very “visual” and this weakening — this acquiesence — of fathers is just not good for leading a boy into manhood.

I hope boys have dads to watch and give them guidance and discipline.

"But flattening the curve — and if you don’t know what that is, I’ll explain in a minute. Flattening the curve was never about reducing the number of dead. It was never about reducing the number of people who die. It had an entirely different objective. Many of you know it."...…..

The reason I turned Rush off years ago. Focus, Rush...

I wasn’t able to watch the TV, but Varney (FXB) was interviewing Mark Cuban and I’m confident Cuban said our future will be the World 2.0

There is a very popular (according to sales) book that shows a future on earth as not being very good.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times,
it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness,
it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity,
it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness,
it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair,
we had everything before us, we had nothing before us,
we were all going direct to heaven, we were all going direct the other way...

...in short, the period was so far like the present period,
that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received,
for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.
Charles Dickens, A Tale of Two Cities
