It is becoming increasingly clear that the Russia investigation launched and conducted by James Comey’s Federal Bureau of Investigation deserves to rank as one of the agency’s great blunders — at best.
President Trump famously calls the probe a hoax, a label he uses liberally, but in this instance, it may literally be true.
We’ve spent years obsessing about Russian meddling in our politics, and now it turns out that the original FBI investigation into the Trump campaign that morphed into the Mueller probe may have been instigated, in part, by Russian disinformation.

Putin, between his U.S. social media trolls input and the Steele Dossier’s disinformation was playing all American sides against all American sides - aiding the sowing of division in the American polity - seeking to make any POTUS victor internally weaker agsint a divided public. Putin got exactly what he wanted - a divided America.
It all comes back to Obama and he should be in prison for the rest of his life.

I doubt this story is true, but if it is, all I can say is “good for Putin.”
Every time I saw Peter Strzok in 2017-18, I thought: “this arrogant, ass-kissing, political-hack and DC swamp creature is head of our national counter-intelligence at the FBI???? Holy shit - America is screwed.”
Just a quick review of his texts and emails that were released showed he must have literally spent all his time on damaging Trump and navigating inter-agency politics. Catching foreign spies was clearly the least of his worries.
If that’s the best American Government and the FBI can produce at spycraft - then this nation deserves everything it gets.
