April 15 (UPI) -- The IRS rolled out a new tool Wednesday that allows Americans to check the status of their stimulus payments, and tens of millions are expected to have their money by the end of the day.
The agency launched the "Get My Payment" web page, where Americans can track their payments by entering tax return information for either 2018 or 2019.
The U.S. Treasury began depositing the payments electronically last Friday. The first recipients are eligible U.S. taxpayers who filed a tax return for either of the last two years. For those, the funds will automatically appear in their bank accounts for the next few weeks.

I went on before, and the answer I got was “no information.”
Will wait abit, really do not want to fill out that info
Is the site working ok?
I just wonder about government and bureaucracy. Remember how the Obamacare guys had three years to set up the Obamacare website, and it didn’t work?????
With Trump’s name on the check!
That’s great!
There was a button to click.
Got ours today!
It's a small thing, you may think, but for the IRS to not SUCK THE LIFE OUT OF US for even a nanosecond is reason for me to celebrate.

HUZZAH!!!!
Me, too... I finally got on and it says “no information” and gives me no option enter a bank account number (I did file last year, but I don’t think they have my bank info).
Typical government - when you need them they’re absolutely useless.
Nothing from the site other than Please Wait but per my bank account a 916 dollar deposit is In Progress. Didn’t think I was eligible. Eh.
I went on it today because I had not previously provided my bank account info to the IRS for direct deposit . I was able to provide the info with no problem except that I usually use ave in my address, but the IRS has st. In its records. It didnt let me log on when I used ave in the address at login.
If youre having issues make sure that your address, birthday, etc. that you use to log in matches the IRS records.
Thats great. I didnt. SS recipients are supposed to get them shortly. Ill go ahead and tell my creditors I can pay them shortly, (whenever TF that is) and see what they say. SMDH.
“Got ours today!”
Same here. Now I need to hide it from my wife and daughters or it’ll be gone in a heartbeat.
I just checked and it said mine was scheduled for today. The only information it asked for was SSN, Street Address and Zip Code. I filed early this year and already got my refund in early Feb, and even had to file an amended return and already did that too. It says you’ll need info from your 2018/2019 taxes, but that’s really all they asked for.
The server must be overloaded.
That site seems to be in the same shape as the rest of IRS.gov.
All I get when I try to log into my IRS account is “your request could not be completed”
It did verify my username by a return email but now I just got the same “your request could not be completed” from the Get my Payment page as I got from my IRS account.
Good thing I printed out the payment conformation.
.
With all the problems, there’s something to be said for being not eligible.
One important point is that if your income drops in 2020, and you become eligible, you can get a tax credit on your 2020 tax return, which requires a lot less rigmarole.
Two family members in Virginia received their checks.
Wonder if the process is based on States, employment etc.
Not alphabetically, but perhaps population??????
So if you partially qualify in 2018, but fully qualify in 2019 but havent yet filed return for 2019.
What would happen in this case?
Logged in...told info not on file...but have been receiving SS by direct deposit for at least 5 years....anyway reinstalled routing and account numbers....waiting to see it pop up in the account now.
