She is correct. Gaslighting is about power and control. If you're the alleged victim or political opponent, then you're left banging your head against the wall by the charges being ignored, and the futility of resistance eventually makes you submissive.

Two weeks ago the MSM criticized Pres. Trump for saying the US had done the most Corona tests of any country. They were very concerned about the numbers of tests weighted by population.
Yesterday the MSM breathlessly announced the US had the highest number of Corona deaths of any country. Now the same MSM is *not* concerned about reporting numbers of deaths weighted by population.
