Not going to fire Fauci. Likes Fauci. Has been on same page with Fauci since the beginning.
Defends forecasts. Talks about millions would have died if they had done nothing and let it spread. Defends not shutting down the economy sooner. Promises list of activities done in February in response to press claiming the time was wasted.

IF Fauci and Trump have been on the “same page” all along (which is completely contradicted by statements from both of them), then I have lost more faith in Trump. Fauci is a corrupt member of the swamp/deep state. A doctor who has never actually practiced medicine- yet somehow has been an administrator his entire career.
I look at it, at best, as being like putting a general in charge of a war that has never fought a single battle or even served as a “grunt”...

Fauci just did Trump a big favor. He is the most trusted person in the USA on virus issues. The press has been trying to drive a wedge between the doctors and Trump since day one.
No more Trump was late to respond. I want to see the dems just ry to make this argument now.
I saw that interview, the press totally and intentionally misconstrued what Fauci was saying.
I wrote to his address, but directed my comments to his press sec. I asked her to either make the reported show common courtesy and manners. I’m sick of all those gas bags!
