Firefighters on their tenth day battling the blaze are desperately trying to extinguish it before it reaches plant The devastation of inferno has been laid bare in helicopter photographs which shows acres of scorched earth Photographs also hammer home the seemingly insurmountable task of 400 emergency service personnel There are fears radiation could be fanned towards populated cities such as the capital of Kyev

A clear exception to the “mini-series always suck” rule.
I’m hoping (probably agains hope) that the Wuhan China virus will do the the CCP what Chernobyl did to the USSR.
Are now within SIGHT....
virus pandemic
swarms of locust
forest fire threatening the radioactive remains of Chernobyl.
And, not even halfway through 2020
Nature cleaning up. But a. shame those beautiful forests may burn.
They’ll grow back.
Dont forget the nuclear mutant wolves of Chernyobl, roaming the abandoned forests - looking to feast on human flesh!
Nature is doing great around Chernobyl. The vegetation came back, it never left anyway. Plants can take high radiation. But the mammals and other animal life came back long ago. I don’t know if the radiation is down enough to be safe for people. And perhaps the soil is polluted with radioactive debris within a certain radius and depending on prevailing winds. So can you eat vegetables and fruits grown near the old blown reactors? Can you eat the meat of your grazing animals, goats, sheep, cattle? Drink their milk?

Krakatoa started erupting again two days ago.
Could get another Tsunami like last time it blew up.

Don't forget various earthquakes, rumblings anew in Yellowstone Caldera, new eruptions in Krakatoa...
It's all moot, Greta says we'll all be dead in 11 years anyway.
My only remaining worry is, do I have enough TP to last 11 years?
Controlled expansion bullets are the bullet of choice but a large caliber is necessary too. Those wolves are hard to stop.
My only remaining worry is, do I have enough TP to last 11 years?
= = =
That assumes that you are still eating for those 11 years.
And here I was thinking that silver bullets would be the only way.
:)
Im pretty sure a forest fire poses no risk to the reactor site.
Gosh, the historical events that have happened in my 70 plus years in USA is remarkable.
Within sight of the site. So just sit tight. It’ll be alright.
Gee is that gif from a New York hospital yesterday?
