Recall that the republicans had tons of exculpatory material to defend Trump with but they were not allowed to use any of it, and they were locked out of the house intelligence committee’s meetings and/or the witness was not allowed to answer questions when asked. So those tapes won’t get to see the light of day as they will all be suppressed. And the media and the lemmings will allow it.
His agenda is to damage POTUS. Getting fired will enable him to attack POTUS. If President Trump is smart he will find a way to sideline Fauci, without firing him. Someone needs to go to Wuhan and do personal reconnaissance.

When I speak to him about issues that are substantive, he listens. I think he always understood the seriousness of it. Right now, as the numbers are becoming crystal clear, he himself is articulating an awareness of that seriousness. But from the beginning, he always took it seriously.

He’s setting the stage for Impeachment Committee by the House for his handling of COV19. He is going out and getting cocky and hoping President fires him. Then he will be a major star witness for the House. He probably has been taping, recording the conversations with the President and others and feeding Schiffty and Pelosi since January or so. He probably has his own notebooks that he writes in (Like Comey), etc.
Seen this before. He is distorting changing the history of what he said, recommended and knows the media will write it and make it so. He wants President to fire him.

STL WP 02/01/2020 – CDC director Robert Redfield said the risk to the American public currently is low . Dr. Fauci said we still have a low risk to the American public.
I’d love to see President Trump ask Fauci directly—at a Task Force Presser, and after accurately quoting all Fauci’s former statements in January and February—why he downplayed the seriousness of the virus to the American people if he was so concerned. I want to hear his answer to that.
Millions of people watch that presser every day. I’m sure they would be interested to hear his answer, too.

As for the above, he was correct at that time, in regards those in the US.
What is head-shaking is that most of the people who are using this to attack him here think the epidemic is not serious even now.
