Many including the defiant pastor, Rev. Jack Roberts arrived with their plates covered, with officers instead recording their VIN numbers, the paper said.
Even more desperate measures appeared to have been taken to keep the faithful away with piles of nails blocking each entrance, according to photos shared by the Courier Journal.
It was not clear who had left the nails, which were eventually cleared by church volunteers in time for the main arrivals, the paper said.
Kentucky State Police troopers then left large signs on every car left in the church lot, the paper said accusing those present of CREATING SCENES OF AN EMERGENCY.
They noted that everyone in the car owners household would be forced to quarantine for 14-days for defying the warning an order several worshippers told the Courier Journal that they planned to ignore.

Sick. Just sick.
Inside every cop is an authoritarian crying to get out.
Let us remember the mantra that the Law and the Military will be on the side of the Patriots who defy a Government Order to surrender their Weapons.
Kentuckians need to be very worried about how quickly their state troopers adopted these measures and the zeal with which they enforce them.
This is not America.
Resist!!
Im at Maryville Baptist Church, which continues to hold in-person services despite orders to cease . This morning, piles of nails have been scattered at every entrance. pic.twitter.com/WcxkqtVZQw— Sarah Ladd (@ladd_sarah) April 12, 2020
Obanga knew what he was doing when he queered up the military. Fire on those Christians! With pleasure, my lord.
#godless heathens attempt to stop Easter services.
Rev. Roberts had to call for help to clean up piles of nails scattered at the entrances to the church parking lot. https://t.co/mvBv8IYo1Q— ✝️ Easter Worshiper Col Joe 🇺🇸 -vs- 🇨🇳🦠 (@GKJoe) April 12, 2020
Be thankful that they were bot smart enough simplexes.
More proof that the police are the enemy.
JoMa
People made fun of the River Church when the pastor was arrested, but the result was that Florida added churches to the list of “essential services”.
So now this pastor gets to go through the same thing in Kentucky. Hopefully it will end well.
Worth repeating.
... and inside every single digit IQ moron who insists on risking other people’s lives by breaking quarantine deserves to be locked up.
Cops littering?
I’m in Kentucky, and I would like to know why the governor considers panhandling an “essential business.” As an Uber driver, I see as many beggars on the streets as I did before the crisis started, and so far I have seen only one wearing a face mask. You certainly can’t give them anything without violating the new rules on “social distancing!”
Worth preparing for.
How Soviet of them
Obama infected our system with scum who he feels will point their firearms and tyranny at Americans with Nazi zeal.
