Thats really the most compelling point.
Its like examining the construction details of Thomas Jeffersons estate at Monticello, and finding out that the level of precision they used to build it could only have been accomplished using laser technology.

If it is fake, it would be strange that the artist would know about positive and negative images.That would be very strange. That the artist could figure out how to do that would also be very strange, as well has apply some kind of pigment to a depth that is a tiny fraction of the thickness of a single thread. That was some talented artist.
