A majority of Democrats want to nominate New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo for president instead of Joe Biden, according to poll results shared exclusively with The Post.
The national poll found 56 percent of Democrats prefer Cuomo, with 44 percent wanting to stick with presumptive nominee Biden a 12-point margin well outside the 4.8 percent margin of error for the Democratic sample.

>>> but they used him to get rid of Bernie.
You are not wrong.
Cuomo would be a more “worthy” opponent for Trump. Now I have two questions -
(1) Is Cuomo Hillary Clinton Clan, Obama creature? Is he beholden to One World Order/Soros/??? other players?
(2) Whoever the DNC elders appoint, can Bernie Sanders re-enter the race, declaring the chosen one is no better than himself?
True. And I never trust a Cuomo.
The Obama’s never were Americans and never will be nor their party.
Cuomo is the poster child for pay-to-play corruption.
Well prepared. We've got too many ventilators, let's auction them off. Oh, we don't have enough ventilators, help us! Oh, we have more ventilators than we need.
Cuomo and his Mass Graves ?
Not this sh!t again.
The fools are stuck with Slow Joe or Bernie.
Our 1st Italian American, it doesn’t mater if he sucks or not, he’d be our 1st Italian American, that’s all that counts, be a 1st of some National background or color. I remember when Cuomo the 1st appointed Paul Castellano’s brother to one of his state positions. I can only imagine what will become of Mario the II administration. He’s just one more NY best politician money can buy. Get your Mario blue caps with “MASA” on them.
Yup....the gov’s nipple rings are not gonna be a hit in flyover country.
When we wrest our independence, the country was an agricultural colony largely slaved worked. Within a hundred and fifty years, after much sacrifice of treasure and lives, we had become, based on a system of personal responsibility and individual freedom, the richest leading manufacturing nation in the world and a magnet for the poor and semi-enslaved of the world. That sounds pretty great to me, in spite of what New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo might think.
Thats what baffles me about the Cuomo rumors. Nobody wants to take on Trump. Any advantage this pandemic gives an opponent over Trump (_something_ can be construed as handling it wrong) applies equally or more to Cuomo. Getting trounced by a popular president in a national crisis would wreck Cuomos career, when he could just hang out as NY gov for a while then take on Pence with better positioning & odds.
Biden doesnt expect to win and has no political future, making him a perfect fall guy in a no-win race.
Yes - but even so - agriculture was much, much stronger in the north, including cotton, as they did not rely on slave labor but hired workers and through technological innovation. As a result, the north’s economic base was much stronger than that of the south, which a big reason why the south ultimately could not compete with the north militarily...the north had far more wealth and resources to draw on.
I'm wit you...my guess is a gaggle of Dim "leaders" will meet with Beijing Joe and 'splain to him that it would be in the best interest of the party if he were to announce that due to his doc's advice, he is withdrawing and will support whomever the party agrees to.
And I can't wait for that moment...lots a popcorn needed.
Yes, what you say is true, some 80 years after our independence. Indenture servitude (term-limited slavery) was common in northern agriculture prior to our revolution. IMHO, the Civil War was caused because the southern aristocracy had lost its financial and political dominance and would rather be a big frog in a little pond than a little frog in a big pond. Whitney’s cotton gin probably had a good deal to do with lowering the comparative advantage of slavery.
