A billion yen isn’t much. When I was stationed there it was 300 yen per dollar.

Tucker said Starbucks just announced that it is locating a coffee roasting factory in China. And Walmart is expanding operations in China. Sam Walton is spinning in his grave.

Actually, I did search by “Japan.” Nothing came up for today. The search function is not infallible.

Yep. That will hit the Chinese where it hurts--their pocketbook. They know FULL well what they've done.

“No need to sue China, just get businesses to leave.”

We should do the same pronto. And once they’ve left, shred our bonds held by China. Even though that is not nearly enough to compensate us for all we’ve lost due to their actions, it’s a start. In the meantime, be ready for a proxy attack—or direct. Who knows.

Open up rare Earth mining in the U.S., set up a value chain, and you’ll be temping a lot of high-tech firms to come into the country.

No one wants to put up with the Chinese rare Earth BS anymore.
