The 800 pound gorilla in the room I haven't seen anyone write about is all the multi-million dollar businesses and corporations that have multi-millions in assets and income at stake. When it comes down to it, that's the real constituency of those dingbat governors. Right now they're playing along but as soon as it gets stale they're going to be calling in markers to yank some chains. Count on that.

The flip side of this is that those large businesses first have to figure out how much BUSINESS they'll even have when this comes to an end.

I've suggested here that I wouldn't be shocked if 50% of the restaurants in this country will never open again even if everything is back to "normal" TOMORROW.
