Betcha, cop run through the parked vehicles, videotape all license plates. Run tags through state database and suspend all tags and licenses and fine. Issue warrants, etc.

Looks like they need a new mayor. He's taken his commissar act a bit too far.

Over 50 years ago I can remember going to mass at a drive in movie theater. You took the big old speaker and hung it on your car window. They set up a stage up front where they placed the altar right in front of the movie screen.

conspiracy to exercise the former Constitutional right to free exercise of religion

We live in an enforced atheistic tyranny now. The Constitution, or at least several explicit ancient civil liberties of the people, no longer exist. For now, we still can speak freely over these wires, but even that right soon may cease. These former United States of America soon shall be forever recognized as a Communist regime. The day of the demise of the last vestige of liberty on this planet is soon at hand.

Mayor Fischer is pretty much a left wing loon. I live in an adjoining county and am glad I don’t have to put up with his idiocy.

Something is very wrong in Kentucky

Tennessee and Kentucky have a long common border, very similar demographics, topology, and heritage and yet Tennessee has very stable US state governmental financial statistics, and Kentucky has one of the worst.

And this has been true in TN under
both Democratic and Republican leadership, consistently

“It’s not really practical or safe to accommodate drive up services taking place in our community,” the mayor said during a video address. “Think about this on Sunday morning there would be hundreds of thousands of people driving around our community.”

OK, I am thinking about it and my thinking is; How is this different from *normal*? Does it add to contagion danger? NO! How would this 1st Amendment RIGHT, Religion and Assembly, further endanger the public good? What virus is exchanged between cars?

The Mayor and Governor are WRONG and where is the 'vaunted' ACLU here?

Steven Webb, the pastor of the Dixie Valley Church of God said he understands the mayor’s edict.

Looks like the pastor already caved.

I hope the good Christians of the Louisville area will revolt against this and attend a drive-in service, if it's available to them. I'm almost tempted to drive the short distance from Indianapolis.

Given all the other activities considered "essential," there is no reason why churches couldn't do something that feels reasonably normal. This mayor is over-stepping their bounds...this isn't about protecting people, it's about controlling them.

Never forget.

The government
The police
Even your neighbors

willingly and happily stripped you of all your rights

...Because....”It’s for your own good.”

This should be re-posted every single day, forever.

Can we get Barr the Pied Piper on this? Last night he told Laura he won’t stand for discrimination against Christians.

If they show up on bicycles, “Mayor Bikepath” is fine with it.

The Louisville mayor is TOTALLY caught up in his own SELF-IMPORTANCE!

He's just another "whistledick politician."

That only means that he will sit down when Christians are discriminated against.

Don't expect anything from Barr and you won't be disappointed.

You are dead on, I keep reading about Democrats, doing this and that, just to ban ALL things Christian, but allowing isam and anything Dem supported to remain open.

What is there about a church service that is NOT an “essential service”?

Totally unconstitutional.
Totally.

The First amendment doesn’t say you have freedom of religion IF YOU AREN’T SICK...
It doesn’t say you have freedom of speech IF YOU AREN’T SICK...
It doesn’t say you have freedom of assembly IF YOU AREN’T SICK...

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I suspect he thinks people will get out of their cars and do some socializing with friends they haven’t seen in a month.

Our church is having a drive in sunrise service Sunday and I am hoping to see the people I have been missing. I am not going to get out of the car. No, not in KY.

Personally I think he has no legal basis for such a ban, and if any pastor is charged with holding a service, it will not be church member who turns him in. It’s far more likely that some sniveling libs get in their cars and go looking for somebody to rat out.
