Researchers at Stanford Medicine are working to find out what proportion of Californians have already had COVID-19. The new study could help policymakers make more informed decisions during the coronavirus pandemic.

Wonder what open borders Joe Biden thinks of that?
Well according to Fauci he would NOT have stopped flights from China so basically hey 60 million infected cause why not
We flew into L.A. in December for a cruise to Florida. All caught a respiratory ailment with dry cough that lasted almost a month.
Wife’s sister tested negative for flu.
Ill give you three guesses whos funding the study, but the first two guesses dont count?
Victor Davis Hanson is quoted in this article.
The emphasis in this is getting people safely back to work, not arguing over Fauci.
During that same time, California was welcoming as many as 8,000 Chinese....into our airports.
= =
The entire country was welcoming around 20K/day, during that time.
No telling where/how long this thing has been here.
Been telling my wife ever since this panic started (about 2 months?) that this virus has been circulating for at least 6 months here on the west coast.
“Myself and my daughter had something respiratory in November that was wicked here in Florida. “
Yep. We thought it was something unique till we found out our next-door and across the street neighbors here in Florida had it while we were on cruise.
I agree, this went through most of the people who work for my business , I got it too.
I am a Northern Californian, and I distinctly remember how many friends and family members had severe "colds" around that time.
In fact, only two of our three kids came over for Thanksgiving because our son's entire family was sick.
And then at Christmas, he and his family came over but one of our daughters didn't because her family was sick.
All of our kids know not to come over when they are sick because their mom has fibromyalgia and even a simple cold lays her out for weeks.
I rarely get the flu but this year I got a flu shot as part of my hiring process at a local hospital.
I caught a 24 hour bug in January and I think I am the only person amongst our friends who didn't catch a severe "cold"
I am 58 years old and to this day I don't know the difference between a cold and the flu.
All I know is my Facebook page was filled with people who were complaining of a cold that wouldn't go away.
I am confident that many of my fellow Northern Californians will say the same thing.
Not to say that the Kung Flu isn't a real thing. I just think it has been blown out of proportion.
There. I said it. Commence flaming.
One final note. I work at a hospital. And our caseload has gone down since the hysteria began.
Same in Southern Indiana. Dame time frame also. Several people I worked with had the same thing. This has been a total political hit job from day one to destroy the economy and get Trump.
Everybody and their brother had pneumonia in Nov.
I firmly believe this has been in the country since early November had 2 friends that were very sick for weeks with what they thought was the flu but they couldnt shake it, both tested NEG for flu!! This was before Thanksgiving!!
I am in CA. and our numbers are SO LOW it it ridiculous!!!
I know two people who had similar symptoms in early Dec and both tested negative for the flu. I wonder how many had mild cases and never got any treatment but recovered.
I agree. Just like the weather rolls from here to the east, so too did coronavirus.
“Political correctness is not worth dying over”—Pat Buchanan a few years ago.
Our stupid society allows our people to die rather than be accused of anti-Chinese racism in protecting ourselves.
By the way, nearly all Asian countries have strictly enforced anti-foreigner border security and immigration rules.
Try saying you’re going to enter North Korea and start a Jewish synagogue. Or book a stadium in China for a three day Christian celebration.Or a book signing tour for authors who denounce socialism.
Agree.
The Dems were all having their meltdowns, about how raciss, Trump’s China travel bans were....
Turns out, they likely saved lives.
If only we’d started them even sooner.
This carp might be over with, by now.
Ive been saying this for awhile. Been totally poo poo’d. Still stand by it.
