It’s probably no surprise that New York Times columnist Tom Friedman has been imagining a Joe Biden victory for the White House in November.
But what had some liberals freaking out Tuesday was Friedman’s suggestion that Biden, if elected, form a “unity cabinet,” composed of both Democrats and Republicans.
The coronavirus outbreak provides the perfect opportunity to renew a bipartisan spirit in the U.S. after years of partisan acrimony, Friedman argued.

You can find Republicans that are nearly indistinguishable from Democrats.
Take for example my own Republican Governor of Ohio, Mike DeWine and before him John Kasich.

For better or worse, Republicans have a long history of working with Democrats in the name of national unity.
On the other hand, if someone suggests that Democrats work with Republicans, the result is that Liberals “freak out” because the idea is abhorrent.
Unity, thy name is Trump.
By reaching out to work with people who were calling him Hitler just a few weeks ago.

Romney is not a republican

They both are probably on drugs.
It has occurred to me that if the Democrats get totally desperate, they could choose Romney as their nominee this year. His policies match their policies. It would smell like unity, it would attract anti-Trump Republicans and they’d have a nominee who doesn’t have dementia.
Does he realize that Biden is senile?
I have no problem with the idea of a unity cabinet, but where do Trump find America first democrats who don’t have a mind debilitating TDS ?

The fast-fading, dementia-burdened Biden needs a sock puppet to run the presidency if by some freak of nature he happens to get elected.
He is in no mental shape to campaign, let alone run the country.
An intervention is needed by the democRATS to prevent a disaster for Biden and the country.
Romney doesn’t have policies. He’s a democrat. He thrives on power. Nothing else.
Yeah. That’s why he might be attractive to them at the Democrat Convention when they announce that Joe can’t serve.
It’s no longer Democrat vs. Republican in politics. It’s now Globalist vs. Nationalist, which explains why it’s so easy to envision GOP dopes like Romney or Kasich in a Biden cabinet ... and why Donald Trump is likely to get a lot of votes from Bernie Sanders supporters in November.
