Realistically, COVID-19 will be here for the next 18 months or more. We will not be able to return to normalcy until we find a vaccine or effective medications.
If we prematurely end that physical distancing and the other measures keeping it at bay, deaths could skyrocket into the hundreds of thousands if not a million. We cannot return to normal until there's a vaccine. Conferences, concerts, sporting events, religious services, dinner in a restaurant

This guy obviously wants us to go back to the “great” Obama economy.
A safe and effective vaccine would stop this pandemic. However if people have the combination antibodies and a negative PCR test to COVID, they most likely have been infected, have recovered and now have immunity and are probably no longer infectious. Normal life could then resume at least for them.
Isn’t he 75 yet?

I do have a question for some one in the medical community; perhaps there are some medical doctors amongst the readers or members of Free Republic who may be able to answer my question.
BHT or Butylated hydroxytulouene has been known since the 1970’s that it can be used to treat herpes because of its anti-viral properties. In later years it also was found that BHT could fend off many other lipid coated viruses as well and the corona virus happens to fall in this category.
BHT seems to work by disrupting the lipid membrane of viruses, and hat it can be used for protection from and treatment of other viruses as well. The US FDA has only approved BHT for use as a food preservative. It has banned its investigation for medical use. It is a non-patentable substance, so it is not possible to make large profits from its use. Because of it pharmaceutical companies actively try to discredit its use and effectiveness.
Now to the question I have is: Can BHT inflict enough damage upon the Coronavirus via disrupting its lipid membrane, so this virus can no longer do its dirty work by starving your body of oxygen, as it binds to the heme groups in hemoglobin in your red blood cells. Causing shortness of breath in people afflicted with this virus along with triggering other related problems in an avalanche effect due to insufficient oxygenation of the bloodstream.
In other words what will happen to the effectiveness of this virus once you either damage or remove its lipid coating?
