Comptroller Scott Stringer's mother, Arlene Stringer-Cuevas, 86, died on Friday after testing positive for coronavirus. During a Monday interview on CNN, Stringer blamed Trump for his mother's death.
In New York City, this is playing out in so many families, and I’ve got to tell you, Donald Trump has blood on his hands, and he has my mom’s blood on his hands. And he sent us a hospital here in the Manhattan harbor, and no one can get on that hospital," Stringer said. "This is something that’s just outrageous, and so it’s very tough to mourn under these circumstances."

I’m sorry for the gentleman’s loss, but blaming Trump for it, especially for political advantage, is beyond the pale.

Okay, I LOL’d.
Likely she got the infection from a family member or friend of the family visiting her. If Mr Stringer was really concerned about protecting his mother he and the family would have encouraged her isolation from anyone out in the public, including him. I have two elderly couples for whom their friends and I make sure they get groceries and medicines without them leaving the house or any of us visiting them in their home. Instead of blaming Trump, Stringer should be blaming himself and his family.
