Interesting YouTube video. This is an hour-long YouTube video from "Serpentza", a popular host on the platform.
The video starts out with a short clip from back around the end of January. It was in fact, a video I discussed with someone here on FR at the time. It was rather controversial.
It shows a Chinese woman, buying a bunch of facemasks, from a home depot, I believe. She is with her husband, who is American. This is the follow-up, to the original video. Apparently that video set off people both in America, and in China.
(here, repeating Serpentsa's plea, not to escalate the issue - just interesting)
However this video is much longer than that. And this is where it gets interesting...
He then starts discussing the Chinese business known as "DaiGo". Which is frankly, bootlegging. People importing things into China to then sell, while avoiding the import taxes, paid in China.

Thousands, millions of people, running things across the border into China, then selling the goods online.
Happening, every day.
It is an interesting, and informative YouTube video.
I have followed Serpentza (as well as another, American guy LaoWhy86) for a number of years on YouTube.
I lived in China a long time ago.
Like Serpentza, and LaoWhy86, I am living in Asia. I am married here, and speak a bit of Chinese.
Today I saw this video, and decided to post it for everyone.
Feel free to comment, and moderators I just want to say, I KNOW this is highly unusual.
I will understand if this simply gets blown out of the water here. "Poof!"
But it seems important enough, that I thought I would just give it a try.
Just this once.
Serpentza, and LaoWhy86 thanks for all the very entertaining videos, through the years.
Thanks you all for reading this. I am currently stuck here, like everyone else inside. So decided to write this, and see how this goes.
Now, let's see if this lasts for more than a few minutes...
:)
It’s a good video, and these two guys always offer up decent analysis over the system in China. Behind everything....Chinese are hyped-up on being the middle-man and consumed over capitalism.
bookmark.
I’ve followed Winston and Matt for about a year.
They always have interesting content. They pretty much call it as they see it. No polishing a turd and calling it good or peeing on your shoe and saying its raining.
Thanks for posting.
60 Minutes Australia just ran a segment on how Chinese companies in Australia started buying medical supplies (masks, hand sanitizer, gowns, etc.) by the ton and shipping planeloads to China. It got so bad that the government had to ban the export of medical supplies. The whistleblower who ratted out the Chinese worked at a property management company, which showed the extent that companies follow Chinese orders. You can basically consider any Chinese national to be a government agent.
Why would you think this would be pulled? This is eye opening. Freepers are not stupid people. I did not know this and now I am part of the .0001% of the US population with this knowledge.
Thank you for posting.
Not news to anyone who shops the flea markets. This has been going on for decades.
ping for later.

Ive been watching their videos for the last 2 years. They make a great show, you could see them starting to complain more and more about China until they finally left . They did a video the other day with China uncensored that was pretty good.
These guys are great. Ive been following for about three years. Their videos on chinese construction falling apart are eye opening. What the chinese do amongst themselves to their own people, having lost the ability to empathize with their own fellow citizens after years of cultural destruction under communism is horrifying.
