When ever I come across a store clerk at the grocery and when I go thru the checkout I make a point of saying “Thank you for being here”>
Brightens their day and costs you nothing. Try it.

Yes the transfer is not always neat and efficient. It is general and eventual.

I work in grocery stores. Vendor for Canada Dry/Snapple. My feeling is if the “Greatest Generation” were as afraid as some of the snowflakes are today, we’d be saying Heil Hitler. Thank goodness the “Greatest Generation” wasn’t afraid. And neither am I.

We are not a slave state.

Many people work although aftaid

I worked a very dangerous occupation where disfigurment, attack, and death were possibilites. I was always afraid, and it made me careful.

I watch men conquor their fears and climb tall towers, work deep mines, walk lonely beats, soldier in terrifying situations....They all have courage, they all are not slaves.

After my last trip to an Austin area H-E-B, I am hoping for 90 degree weather to melt the snowflakes (and other flakes) working their while quaking in their boots. My advise to those workers is to lean to speak Chinese.

“I would like to know if anyone in {city}, or the surrounding area, would like to help feed those awesome truck drivers out there!”

Americans improvising during an emergency. That’s what Americans are good at, and this announcement is good to see. The lady will need the sheriff to protect her effort in case the governor sends out the weenie state police to shut her down.

“they have been praised for their dedication by Pope Francis, former U.S. President Barack Obama and countless people on social media”

unbelievable.

The two who died recently in Chicago were aged 48 and 51.

You know, we stayed home...then again we were forced to do so, as we lost our Spring fair season. So there was nothing else to do. That and we are in the perfect demographics, over 60, overweight, hypertension A+ blood....all the highlights... So we stay home. We go to town about every ten days now. For us it is to stay safe....I don’t need to catch this and neither does my wife. Why take the chance. Until there is a clear cut treatment, and HCQ + Zinc looks very promising. there is no need for us to expose ourselves needlessly.

I fully intend on proceeding 'normally' as I am now (under the circumstances). I've always been pretty much of a home-body but when I need/want something, I go out. Right now, 'wants' are fairly shut down (except for my wine :) ) eating out, going to parks etc. but I still go when I want and that's what I intend on doing.

People are going to have to swallow their fear when this is over and resume living. (jimho of course)

And that right there is why we are sliding to socialism.

Don’t feed team blue ammo.

Truth is any simple infection can go septic in anyone. There are cases where a person died from the sepsis triggered by the virus that causes cold sores. I also wonder how many people are going to cause severe skin infections from overuse of hand sanitizer.

I am not sure how I am providing team blue ammo. Unless you speak generally?

If AP and the rest of the enemy media can cause panic among grocery and restaurant workers and truckers they could really bring about anarchy and chaos. That’s what they do.

I was at our local grocery today and noticed some of them were masked up.

With meeting so many people I don’t blame them. Same for another store I went into. I was the only person in there and when I approached the checkout counter, the person behind the counter moved his mask over his face.

I was not offended and don’t blame him.

Without truckers, we’d be eating dandelions and wiping our butts with leaves

lmao

My son is a grocery store worker. He’s not afraid. Why? Because fear doesn’t prevent death. It prevents life.

Trump needs to order all print publications to turn these giant rolls of newsprint into TP.

First off, the machines that make toilet paper are not the same as the machines that make newsprint. Second, according to one Freeper who talked to a trucker, the warehouses are filling up with toilet paper. Turns out everyone buying a year's supply means they don't need to buy any more for a year.
