Deborah Birx’s Medical License Is Expired

Birx Is No Longer Licensed To Practice Medicine In Pennsylvania

Dr. Deborah Birx, a member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, has an expired medical license.

Birx, who was appointed by former President Barack Obama to serve as United States Global AIDS Coordinator in 2014, graduated from the Pennsylvania State University medical school in 1980. She was issued a medical license in Pennsylvania in 1987.

That license expired on December 31, 2014, and it has not been renewed since then, according to the Pennsylvania Licensing System Verification Service, courtesy of the Pennsylvania Department of State.

Birx, who is listed as residing in Potomac, Maryland, does not appear in Maryland practitioner records.

Birx is garnering criticism for touting a disputed model for the Coronavirus outbreak prepared by the University of Washington’s IHME, a project of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Birx serves on the board of the Global Fund, which has received more than $2 billion in funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Yes, because when your license expires, you automatically forget everything you have learned about medicine, hospital management, and disease.

If she cared enough, she would keep her license up to date,
even if she did not practice medicine. Probably to cheap to pay
for the costs of continuing education and license fees.

She would probably have to spend considerable time and money keeping her certifications up to date. If she has multiple specialties, this could add up.

She should have no problem renewing expired license. I bet it happens all the time.

On the other hand, Elizabeth Warren, while on the Harvard faculty, definitely engaged in providing legal opinions which clearly required an active membership in the bar, which she happened not to have.

I wish they would also check the background on these people to see if they have stocks, etc. in pharmas or sit on the board of directors for a variety of companies.

PA license aside, this is the part most should find most objectionable:

Birx serves on the board of the Global Fund, which has received more than $2 billion in funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Gates is another globalist bastard.

“If she doesn’t treat patients, why is she and Fauci trashing Chloroquine, which has been used by plenty of doctors who actually treat patients for coronavirus and has proved very effective?”

Because they’re “invested” in big pharma who’s looking to make hundreds of billions of dollars for an expensive new CoVID19 vaccine.

She is giving medical advise for the entire country and is not licensed.

No, but you are not an expert on the effective treatment for a new disease where you have never treated a patent before either.
Nor should you be giving out diktats on national level on new treatments you have had zero experience with.

She’s not in practice and not admitting to hospitals so it does not mean a thing in the scheme of things.

Other than...”We Got him now!”

"Kind of irrelevant as she is not actually treating patients."

But doesn't she need to be licensed to give official medical advice?

At least she has medical credentials. Unlike the top state health officials in some democrat states.

During my career as a scientist, I worked with several public sector MDs and DVMs. I was only aware of one doc who kept his medical license current.

No, but you are not an expert on the effective treatment for a new disease where you have never treated a patent before either.

There are NO experts on Covid-19. The disease was unknown 3+ months ago. I assume people like Dr. Birx are intelligent and experienced enough to ask people in hospitals the right questions

Nor should you be giving out diktats on national level on new treatments you have had zero experience with.

By that logic, Trump shouldn’t be talking about Covid-19 at all then.

Its bizarre you would treat a piece of paper issued by a state bureaucracy after merely paying a fee as the holy-grail of all medical decision making for the entire country.

All you need to give medical advice is medical knowledge. Most people who have graduated from med school have at least a base of medical knowledge. Regarding a respiratory virus driven pandemic, we should be getting medical advice from specialists in respiratory diseases. Politics doesn’t work that way. Spokesmen are good at speaking, not necessarily expert at subject matter.

Everyone in these press conferences is a politician at some level. They are not putting garden variety respiratory specialists up there to give briefings.

It is what it is.

Its about caring enough to stay licensed and registered. And stay on top of the newest goings on. Especially if you are still going to be giving advice on medical issues and help shape current policies and help with ongoing societal healthcare issues.

Kind of irrelevant as she is not actually treating patients.

Yep.

Many doctors let their license lapse when they move into administration.

“Dr. Deborah Birx, a member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, has an expired medical license”

That’s TERRIBLE!

I’m pretty sure that one nanosecond after her license expired, every bit of medical knowledge that she had accumulated in her entire lifetime instantly leaked out of her brain onto the floor, never to be useful again ...
