And, $1000 a dose.. too.. these drugs that have no history are the reason they are holding up Hydroxychloroquine with 50 years of safe use.

Ivermectin is FDA-approved for parasitic infections, and therefore has a potential for repurposing.

I have this in my refrigerator presently for my dogs. Also, Panacur-C which I bet will be found to be an effective cure too.

It’s sold at Vet supply stores and the Co-op in my town under the name of Ivomec. The last bottle I bought was $36 but I can’t remember the size, it was probably about a 4 oz. size. Farmers use it to worm cattle, horses, and pigs. A common off label use is to use it to worm dogs, it’s the same medicine as the heartworm preventative that sells for much more. We used to give our dogs .1ml per every 10 lbs. of body weight. A 50 lb dog would get .5ml, a very small amount. You could either inject it or give it orally.

RE:The FDA-approved Drug Ivermectin inhibits the replication of SARS-CoV-2 in vitro

1. If this is FDA approved, it isn’t for Covid-19. At least Hydroxychloroquine is approved for off label use by the FDA

2. Unlike, Hydroxychloroquine, which has already been used on hundreds of patients ( I should say thousands ) for Covid-19 worldwide, Ivermectin has not been tested ON ANY HUMANSfor Covid-19, only on test tubes.

3. Which means that compared to Hydroxychloroquine, it will ( best case scenario ) take MONTHS to approve. Unfortunately, we don;t have the luxury of time in thi =s battle.

A lot of things will kill a virus in vitro that do diddly in vivo. It is worth a shot but I wouldn’t get my hopes up yet.

The President better not mention it or he’ll be blamed for people drinking head lice lotion or eating their dog’s heart worm medicine.
