The number of coronavirus-related deaths in New York is dropping for the first time, Gov. Cuomo said Sunday during his daily press briefing. However, Cuomo emphasized that it's "too early to tell" whether the drop is significant. The governor added that ICU admissions are also down, daily intubations are slightly down, and the hospital discharge rate is "way up.

Coronavirus New York Update: Homeless Possibly Spreading COVID-19 On Subways
International Business Times|4 days ago Most will find shelter for an evening, perhaps in a car or in one of the city's many homeless accommodations. But those that cannot have another option, use the NY subway system operated by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA). "Five percent of the homeless that we reach out to every day, they are going to accept services ...
Guess New York got the message that they cant cook the books anymore and mark down cancer deaths as coronavirus
Cuomo hogs all the credit in 3.2.1...
Let’s hope it isn’t just a blip. Lots of places have had 2-3 day drops before resuming, and it dipped last weekend (Sun into Mon) too.
Does this mean that he DOESN’T need 100,000 ventilators or whatever he was crying about a few days ago?
QUESTION.
Who made GOV. CUOMO the “official voice” of the CORONAVIRUS pandemic???
Lets hope its the end.
give everyone the da.n gin and tonic
and let us out
Hospital discharge way up.
What percent got the Trump Tonic, or don’t they want to tell that part?
More evidence why “shutdowns” should be lifted by the states on a county by county basis. Much of upstate NY could come out from under the lock down while metro NYC (NYC, Long Island, Westchester & Rockland counties) could remain in place. Each state could pursue a similar track.
Any information on whether the deaths were entirely Corona caused? Partially Corona caused with other pre-existing conditions? Or whether any patients were seriously ill with pre-existing conditions and would have died anyway?
Naaa...he’s moving into the we need more money for recover phase.
Oh, please, no. Don’t tell me. Could it be? Might Trump possibly be right that NYS didn’t need 30,000 additional ventilators. (Let alone Cuomo’s last request of 40,000.)
I don’t see what Cuomo claims he sees. They’re reporting another 594 deaths so far today NY out of 1,094 (2nd highest daily total to date). That’s 55% of the deaths. A few ago, it was in the 42-45% range.
He is going to sell them back to the Hospitals upstate from which he will steal them and pocket the funds as state related expenses...
*1,094 nationally
We had 4 cases in our Town of 45,000. Ridiculous to be shut down. In any event, I’m going out tomorrow with massk and gloves to Lowes...I need dirt for my garden.
Does this mean that he DOESNT need 100,000 ventilators or whatever he was crying about a few days ago?

Hopefully they can do something else valuable like steam a hot dog.
Nope. We are all in it together. If one is locked down we are all locked down. Cant have the FluBros stealing a march on the Chicken Freepers.
Once the Chicken Freepers relent from the hysteria and poke their heads out, and dont see their shadows, we can all be released from lockdown.
If it saves just one life...
Winning!
