On his Fox News program Friday, host Tucker Carlson said infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci had been wrong about the current coronavirus pandemic in the U.S. "repeatedly" and that his call for all states to issue stay-at-home orders would amount to "national suicide."

Tucker needs to put together a Rush Limbaugh style montage of Fauci saying things to contradict himself. He has truly been all over the board.
Don’t want to click on the Newsweak link. Just tell me whether or not they give their reader any actual examples of what Tucker said. Indeed, did Tucker give any examples?

I agree.
He is no expert. An expert actually knows what he is talking about. Fauci has proved repeatedly he does not.
He has been all over the place as has the Surgeon General.
Fauci is an infectious disease expert, is he? How many Corona patients has he seen?
Fauci is a nearly 80 year old man who has been a government employee -for the same set of agencies, I believe - for 52 years.
That tells you all you need to know about his competence.
Those paying attention don’t need Tucker to give examples.

Fauci, top of his class, brilliant every day of his long and illustrious career...but I think his political IQ is in the double digits.

He certainly did; about four or five of them.
The real problem is instantaneous communications with everybody worldwide even by morons and a public that has no clue about analytical thinking.
When is the last time he actually practiced as doctor, as against being an administrator?
And what degree does he have in economics or running a country or an economy?
In summary they purposely gave wildly high number of infected and dead.. then imposed state lockdowns. Now they will say being forced to stay home works.
Funny thing is we were shocked china would weld people in... turns our we volunteered. At least the chinese put up a fight against it.

I consider “brilliance” an important parameter when I’m shopping for light bulbs. To trust his recommendations, I’d want to see his record of success in making predictions and policy prescriptions. To those who celebrate him and insist that we trust him, what is it?
