Great idea about the MERV 13 filter in between 2 layers of cloth. Let me know if she sets up shop and starts selling them to the general public. I just purchased a mask from a lady on Etsy, but it’s just a simple cloth mask. Still, better than nothing.

I purchased one from Etsy that has a filter pocket. I’ve also seen suggestions for using vacuum cleaner bags as filters.

Instant face mask-—no sewing-—no fabric purchases necessary.

Tie a large scarf (not silky type) around your head and secure it under your chin.

Then fold a wash cloth in half. Place the folded part of the wash cloth over your nose then tuck the rest into the sides of the scarf.

AND REMEMBER.....toss the wash cloth into the trash——b/c it may have picked up a germ or two.

You can buy packs of inexpensive wash cloths everywhere.
