The Covid virus is actually smaller than the holes in the N95 mask. The N95 works by providing more protection against droplets carrying the virus, but the virus itself could get through.

I suppose most any mask will have a shot at trapping droplets.

Cut a Texas grapefruit in half. Hollow out the pulp, remove the seeds, save pulp for breakfast.

Punch two small holes in each hollowed-out hemispherical grapefruit rind; one at 3 o'clock position, the other at 9 o'clock.

Loop a sturdy rubber band through each hole, and attach the rind to yer face as a mask, fastened securely to each ear by the bands.

Makes an excellent facemask to block the bioweapon virus.

The rind will block the virus strands, even though each individual virus has a mass of ~ 10^-15 gram. That's one quadrillionth of a gram = one femtogram .

The grapefruit mask delivers an extra bonus of vitamin C tang when you inhale.

It also makes a formidable fashion statement.

Great idea about the MERV 13 filter in between 2 layers of cloth. Let me know if she sets up shop and starts selling them to the general public. I just purchased a mask from a lady on Etsy, but it’s just a simple cloth mask. Still, better than nothing.
