A former hippie guru who lived the high life in Europe for years after murdering his ex-girlfriend in Philadelphia in the 1970s has died in prison.
Ira Einhorn, 79, died early Friday in a state prison in western Pennsylvania of natural causes, according to Susan McNaughton, a spokeswoman for the state Department of Corrections. The death at SCI-Laurel Highlands was not related to the COVID-19 virus, she said.

I remember this case, even though it was many years ago. His name is what jogged my memory. I believe he hid his girlfriend’s body in a trunk, if memory serves . . .
And worse is that France wouldn’t extradite him.

He should have been aired out while France was blocking extradition.
No death penalty in France. That is why they would not extradite him to PA. Only happened when PA told the French that they would not seek a death penalty if he was convicted of the murder.
But my problem is that they let him go free until then.
If you look up the lawyer that got him released before he fled to France you will really be angry.
Please let me know where he will be buried, so I can take a dump on his grave.

I’ve always respected John Walsh (of America’s Most Wanted fame) for the confrontation he had with the $hitbag Einhorn when he was arrested. I thought Walsh was going to lose it and hit Einhorn.
