Americans shouldn’t assume hydroxychloroquine is a “knockout drug” in preventing or treating COVID-19, White House health advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci warned Friday.
“We still need to do the definitive studies to determine whether any intervention, not just this one, is truly safe and effective,” Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said on Fox News. “But when you don’t have that information, it’s understandable why people might want to take something anyway even with the slightest hint of being effective.”

I don’t think they are lying, exactly, but I think the death statistics are flawed.
I read today that jazz guitar legend Bucky Pizzarelli died of Coronavirus, at the age of 94. Reading further, it comes to light that in 2016 - 2017, he suffered several severe strokes and pneumonia, lung damage, and was incapacitated...
My point is that there are medical guidelines for assigning cause of death that are being ignored here. Hundreds of thousands of very old and very sick people die of non-accidental deaths each year, and a certain percent of them will have been infected with Covid-19. That does not mean that is what killed them or that they would not have died anyway. But that is how it is being reported.
They make the same error in other areas too. For example, in a twelve car pile up, caused by a sober truck driver’s brakes failing, in which 20 people died - if one of the victims had a couple drinks they call the accident “alcohol related”.
People reporting these stats aren’t statisticians, they are politicians, they are reporters, they are bureaucrats, even the doctors and professors have agendas - where is their next research grant coming from? What corporate hospital conglomerate do they work for? Which big Pharma corporation are they shilling for?
Right now, I don’t trust any of these numbers...
So far I haven’t seen the avalanche of data. I am hoping it changes though and I think that is what Fauci is trying to tell all of you.
Azithromycin is used in combination to keep at bay, the bacterial pneumonia that frequently accompany this virus and other respiratory viruses. The viruses weaken the immune system so that the bacteria can take hold.
Of course he does this. His massahs have told him to stay the destroy America goal and contradict Trump whenever he has the chance.
You are not going to suggest that this 80 year old hard core Hilary Clinton groupie, with an anti-Trump agenda is the best American can do in his current position are you?
Fauci is by far the worst person for this job. He is not working to end this crisis. He is working hard to crash the economy and get Biden or Hilary Clinton(if it comes to that) elected in November.
I have read that azithromycin has, in addition to its antibacterial properties, some beneficial anti-viral properties in “conditioning” the host (i.e., human) cell response.
Bacterial stasis is a good thing! But—
If bacterial stasis was the only reason for the azithromycin, why not use the many other antibacterials that are available for bacterial infection, like amoxicillin or cipro?

With the ultimate aim of doing everything he can to crash the economy and get Trump defeated in November.

I wonder if will ever hold those people accountable who are denying this treatment to the American people.
President Trump has been proven to be out to lunch on this. He’s not even doing anything about. What does the world need more than this treatment? Nothing, those dying deserve better. And you all know damn well if Obama were president you’d be railing against him night and day. This is on Trump, all of it. The buck stops with him, there is a very successful treatment and he’s just sitting there letting it happen.
Not one mention of zinc along with HCQ. HCQ does not kill the virus, it aides in getting ZINC into the infected cells to stop virus replication. ... It is ‘almost’ like ‘someone’ want the NCQ to fail!~
This will be one of the biggest scandals of this pandemic that this drug wasn’t more widely and intensively used.
That is what Ive heard. the preventive dose is very low. I would imagine also a very low risk of adverse side effects.
India just approved it for prophylactic use for 1.3 billion people.
Team Trump has got to see this guy is actively working against Trump and get him off the stage.
The model they referred to two days ago (from the U of Wash., I think?) has reportedly dropped its numbers drastically. So there is Fauci now out there saying the models don’t tell us anything and we can’t trust or go by them.
Birx is at least smoother and less transparent, but Fauci has got to be muffled.

I particularly don't trust any numbers from Cuomo in New York. He has a very long history of Trump hatred. Cuomo is going to use coronavirus to garner as much of the federal $2.2 Trillion “stimulus” money as he can.
Already, New York State alone accounts for coronavirus cases, going by Cuomo's figures.

I believe Trump is looking at this day by day and watching the lines on the graph for both virus deaths and economic damage.
If a week goes by and the body count isn’t anywhere near what Fauci told him it would be he’ll call B.S. and start to pull us out of this.
Right now most of the country is not having a problem. We’re locked down because the doctors told him we *could* become New York. If that turns out not to be the case the Wrath of Trump will be unleashed.
Or better yet if people want to take the drug put the flag on you mailbox up and the mailman can leave the needed doses - something it can't be this tough.

They never guarantee anything. When little bear was in the NICU, the doctors were always very hesitant to say much because things can change.
The nurses, especially the old ones, took one look at her and said she would be running around like nothing happened in two years.
