EXCLUSIVE: The Trump campaign has been donating meals to hospitals across the country to feed doctors, nurses and first responders on the front lines of the coronavirus battle, Fox News has learned.Since last Thursday, President Trump’s reelection campaign has been calling up local restaurants and ordering large amounts of food to be delivered to more than a dozen hospitals in New York, New Jersey, Washington state and Michigan. The campaign has been placing these orders anonymously, but Fox News learned about the effort — and sources confirmed it.
One source told Fox News that the campaign was looking to not only express gratitude for first responders treating patients with COVID-19, but to support local restaurants.“They’re doing it as a donor who cares,” one source told Fox News. “So nothing politically is tied to it. ... We’re just trying to, you know, show a thank you.”

It’s a win win. But this is our American spirit, as opposed to someone like Bloomberg who spent a ton of money not getting himself elected, and can’t give anything to these fine people.
On one hand, this is a really nice thing to do.

Far better this is done anonymously. Too many PussyHatters in charge would find some reason to refuse ANY donation connected with the Trump Administration. They would then post a tweet video describing their disgust at finding out who sent it. Bragging to others about what they prevented.
Photos of the wasted, undistributed food would collect ‘likes’.
Yes, there are plenty of folks petty enough to do that these days. I could even imagine some liberal nurse refusing a donation of Corona-Virus medicine if it came from a Trump supporter.

Well, one way to get the MSM to cover this generosity is to suggest it may be illegal. They will jump all over it and Schiff can add it to his upcoming impeachment inquiry. WINNING AGAIN!
With many Americans now relying on food banks, local charities, etc, I doubt it would get many like except from the true TDSers.
Sure but Hillary ordered pizza for a hospital.
But Bill and Hillary sending pizzas to a hospital is considered breaking news to the lame stream media.
The Clintons sent pizzas to a New York hospital. What is illegal about ordering food and having it delivered? The illegal thing is not giving the delivery person a tip, which I'm sure the Clintons failed to do.
But the Clinton ordered a couple Dominoes’ pizzas for NY Hospitals and it was on every network newscast.
Hillary delivered pizzas....Westchester County of course.
