Former Vice President Joe Biden said on Thursday that his aides are working to set up a call between him and President Trump to discuss the U.S. response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Biden offered earlier this week to speak with Trump about the government’s strategy to combat the coronavirus outbreak. The president told reporters on Wednesday that he would “absolutely take his call.”
“I’m happy to hear he’ll take my call,” Biden said in a virtual briefing with reporters on Thursday. “My team is working with him to set such a call up.”
Biden and Trump’s willingness to speak on the phone with one another comes even as they have continued to spar in recent weeks.
Biden has repeatedly criticized Trump’s response to the coronavirus outbreak, blaming the president for being slow to take decisive action to slow the spread of the virus. He has sought to present himself as a more stable alternative to Trump through digital briefings, television interviews and other media appearances.

Once he agrees with any of Trumps' actions and proposals he can no longer criticize Trump.
What recommendations can Biden offer that Trump isn't implementing or anyone else hasn't already suggested?
How long does it take for his people to do this? It’s been like 48 hours to set up a simple phone call? And they expect us to believe he could be running all of this stuff? Give me a break...

Why the big delay? Why not call call today? Why does he have to have his staff set up the call?
This is going to be a comical call. Remember, Trump is very well versed on this issue and has a team of brilliant experts.
Now Biden, not his experts, is going to talk to trump about the same issue.

You know they will tape the call Biden will suggest something and Trump will tell them it was considered and discarded then lecture him for 10 minutes on why it was a bad idea.
Biden is in for a huge fall.
Biden’s talking to Trump is like a high school mousy little nitwit trying to talk down to the class valedictorian that is also the schools football star in front of the whole school assembly.
The whole country will be laughing, including democrats.
